7 bounces. The rest are common wheel compressions.
Moposite wrote:Bounce - A trick where you pressure one of the wheels and then press brake to release the pressure. You can practice bounces in the Playing section. Bounce was originally deemed as bug, but when people started to know how to make it on purpose, it revealed lots of new style possibilities. Nowadays it belongs to every höylä's trick gallery. Bounce should be distinguished from a bug bounce, which happens sometimes when you are trying bounce. A bug bounce is a unnaturally powerful bounce which can't be predicted. It is sometimes hard to make a clear difference between a normal bounce and a bug bounce. For example current enigma wrs have a controversial bounces. There has been discussion should they be allowed or not. But it's hard to draw line which bounce is buggy and which is not. That's why all enigma bounces are allowed so far, but generally a bug bounce is not allowed.

In bouncing you need some sort of poppy decompression. Usually the pop is achieved by braking, but sometimes you get it without brake too. So I think that brakeless bounces are bounces too but one should include the word "brakeless" when talking about them because they are still a bit different thing than "normal braking bounces".

Wheel compressions and brakeless bounces are hard to distinguish from each others's but so are normal bounces and bug bounces.

My opinion is that there were 7 normal bounces, 2 brakeless bounces and 2 wheel compressions and that rec was very nice.

some years ago i remember that someone told me that he was trying to establish the word "boose" or something for these breakless bounces. i think we should stick to this word from now on to honor this forgotten kuski, whose name i don't even remember!

Why shouldn't it be called a bounce (or boose :)) if the bike bounces? The brake doesn't matter that much.

got requests to upload teh old smibu80 34min long slrec, so here it is. Missed 2 quite big shortcuts which save about 20secs in sum, but it's ok. It was first rec which i made using hourglass btw, so it's quite unpolished in places, ez 32 nowadays, hehe)
Quite surprised it wasnt shared before, wtf actually.

ye it's pretty boring mostly, i do love that uberbrutal at 11:59 though, how could you fall asleep so quick after teh? Spent like 40mins in frame advance trying to reach the apple there, maybe shouldn't have started playing with measly 100fps.

That trick was cool for sure and some others as well, but maybe I was just expecting it to be an ultra smooth rec with ultimate grip. Probably watched it with the wrong mindset, gotta try again some other day.

ooo yesh. Adventure lev and Chainlev. These must be done right away. I'll try both later)

Secret tip: I tried chainlev before, and found niec bounce in the top right of the lev. took teh bounce and made a new ~40 sec lev around it, and placed the bounce less than 10 seconds from the start. Balled for 45 mins, and no one - not even markku - found it. This is what's so good about sl; it lets you find the coolest of tricks in a short time, that otherwise only hours of hoyling could yield.
