Re: Not run as administrator - times & replays lost?

Good opportunity for advertising: you might want to try the multiplayer version of Elma, Elma Online . EOL is the focal point of the Elma scene nowadays. You can play against other players and start your own levels as battles for others to play :) Here's an installation guide: http://wiki.elmaonline...

Re: HotHorses presents... World Battle Cup II

I'd actually lean on all WBC battles being 1 hour long. Time flies by incredibly quick in the events, and it's quite fun to play levels you usually wouldn't play for long (like short höyläs) for a full hour. For example jblaze's 18 sec höylä was one of the most praised levs in the last WBC, and it w...

Btw - does anyone use the Zoom tool? I'm guessing everyone uses mouse wheel, so it's probably pretty useless. It sort of doesn't even belong to the tools because it doesn't modify the level at all. Dunno if anyone uses, but I think it's good to have there just in case a man's mouse wheel doesn't wo...

Everybody I have heard talk about the negativity says "yeah man it really hurts the new players just be cool alright", and then typically a follow up of something like "oh but not me I am fine haha, yeah fuck yeah I am used to it and great at this game so it's cool with me". So ...

The current situation the scene, Elma, and EOL

This subject is something I really like to talk about, and I hope this topic would generate a lot of discussion. While I'm glad that recently there's been actually quite many new players/old players returning to the scene, I feel like - no offense to anyone - they're in kind of the lower spectrum of...

If I understand correctly, having vsync on is the same as having a very low FPS (<60), at least according to this: http://wiki.elmaonline.net/Tuning

Haven't personally tested that much though, so dunno if there's any definitive difference between having vsync on or just capping low fps.
