You should ask the code from milagros. He has made quite many additions to the game and probably already knows the source code by heart. Banana Cup 4 will have several events where you have to be present at the time when the event is held (a battle event) or at least when it is started (first finish event etc.). Which weekday evenings would be the best choise just for you?

The idea given by zebra would be max fun to play. That free practisetime just is not needed. Like in onelifes or first finish battles, you cant know how to play, you have to have good maplooking-skills etc. If you die, you of course would try again before the first-finisher-player gets to flower. or with 1280x800. Should be good reso for elma with 1xzoom and then both of the numbers are half of the screen's native resolution so probably the pixels won't blur.

A new idea came to my mind: Rounds mode - all the players would start at the same time like in onelife battle - top 10 would be given points: for example 10 points for the winner, 9 points for 2nd etc. - when first player finishes the round, there would be for example 30 secs time for other players ...

That's not true. We all play belma quite a lot I think and I have seen zweq playing battles. It's almost unbelieveable how good his battle winning recs always are.

zebra if you got the energy for it, could you split the stats into weekly (or daily/monthly) segments too so we could get some trends visible, like for example i'd like to see how much my winning % has gone up since 2007 and a graph showing average weekly win% over 2 years would be a really interes...

Okay I tried coding this system, you say that you should start with 0 points, but that way you get very little points in the for a long time. On test server the one with most points has 0.35 (to compare he has 69 with old school battle points). Ofcourse it will be better when it's open for everyone...

At least in trackmania that isn't a problem. Someone sometimes makes a ban vote but i have never seen such a vote to pass. If someone tried to ban zweq, it would really need 60 % of the people to say 'yes'. I guess there are always more than half of the people who are sane and would vote 'no'. Inste...

I think western's idea is good. If 60% of people agreed that a player should be banned, then he definately deserves his ban. The ban could be something like a day or a week, not longer.

well... you can just keep it simple then. you can make the stats like they are done at the olympic games: 1st player: 6 no1s, 17 no2s, 3 no3s 2nd player: 3 no1s, 19 no2s etc 3rd player: 0 no1s, 64 no2s etc. etc etc. so no more ratings or points, it only matters the places. ez. ps: some guys will do...
