I got 1:17:XX and am quite sure this will be good enough. Too many people will see that there are so many options and just not play. Options are good, just takes longer to find the best styles and people get bored.

I've made it so there is relative difference (difference to the person in front of you) and absolute difference (difference to the person in first).

I've also set the whole site up with mysql now and am going to make it so you can submit your .rec from the site and don't need to email me.

I think a Top500 for each level would be great. I think that knowing your world rank in a level and seeing your direct competition makes people want to play the level more, so top500 would be nice.
