I tested simple and retro lgrs, as those were the ones i initially thought best for testing this and they made no difference in fps whatsoever. But be my geust to make your own tests and prove me wrong. Maybe there are lgrs that are suited better for this.

ok. then what's the best lgr if you want your mediocre computer hitting 999fps?

smaxa... the deal is that microsoft made an error in vista so you can't change vsync off from your display driver but only inside applications. a fix for this is what p00 is addressing in his first post. an option to force a vsync change inside of elma, so that people with vista can get the benefit ...
