Re: Elmanager - Updated 25th August 2015
I think it would be a good idea to make it impossible to use a character in the level title if it won't appear in Elma (like apostrophe) to avoid misleading people. I dunno, maybe it's already done in the latest version but I'm afraid to update now because last time I did it all the settings resette...

Re: Wanted recs!!!
Hm, that's a habit from playing user made Doom maps People usually share maps in archives to preserve the original file date, which can be of some interest. I guess kinda pointless in Elma since lev files get rewritten when top10 changes.

Re: Tool-assisted speedrun of elma
Not that anyone asked me, but to someone with zero experience in milatool this seems totally uninteresting since it feels like any kind of ridiculous lightspeed wheel travel through ground is possible, at which point there are so few limitations that nothing is impressive anymore. But I guess these ...

Re: One Level Cup [CONCEPT]
Won't mans get bored of playng same damn lev again and again? Even if everyone likes it at first, which is already impossible. Yes, each time it will play sort of differently but it still will probably feel kinda shitty to be stuck with just one lev. Or dunno, I'm just speculating.

Btw guys to play the levels mentioned in this thread I recommend downloading them from the links given instead of via Ctrl+F4. For example, downloading STUNT2.LEV directly in the game gives some short lev instead of the epic one that Redline was talking about. It's a typical problem with old levels,...

Ofc I want to see more attention to levelpacks, but preferably not just for one week after which they are probably forgotten again... Also if it will be all about beating the best time, then obviously it will mainly attract the top players, not nabs like me.) Maybe give points for lower standings too?

Changing fps mid-run is just uncool as hell for the viewer I think. It's like if you are in a cinema and suddenly some guy appears in front of the auidence and says "okay folks, we need to change the film reel now, you might wanna go get a drink or something". Immersion ruined.

Just wanted to say that I like Zweq's idea a lot (making a mega-mega-mega impsy and ridiculously long lev specifically for SLing). Another cool trick to include is that thing where your head can pass through very thin polys by turning, could look mega cool if used a lot in just a few seconds.
