Unless you have proof I wouldn't think taking flower with head is fastest. Wheels have always been further out from center and I don't think two alo to head-flower can accomplish a faster finish than two normal volts to wheel-flower.

I believe it has something to do with the cpu working. If the cpu is working with making sound from Chrome.exe maybe it makes elma behave a bit different if they are running on the same thread? Try rising cpu priority for eol.exe for example, or close and open Chrome again and see if you can recreat...
