How does hanging work?

How is the bike able to hang through the ground like that? Can we imitate this mechanic and create real-life version of Elastomania?

its not actually through ground even if it seems like. actually onlythe wheel is put onto the 2d surface and the rest of the bike is in front of the thing. its optical illusion, could be done in real life but motor bike engine might not work if vehicle basically upside down. might work with mechanical bike tho idk how those work i never learned how to bike irl

^^^ my theory

the bike is split in half like this
Image
the engine is on one side of the bike
kuski with amputated arm and leg is on the other side (to distribute weight more evenly)
the engine uses fuel injection to avoid problems with carburetor float chamber, and the fuel tank is filled with infinite gas so the fuel pump never sucks in air even when bike is upside down
only thing i havent figured out yet is how turning works

also a good theory. mb the bike body has a rotation mechanic implemented so only the body itself turns giving the impression that the whole bike turned?
i mean obv thats how not irl bike turns and balazs based elma on irl :D but no other idea

Good thinking by jon! Especially the part with amputated arm and leg. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe we actually never see two arms or two legs on the screen? So this diagram explains a lot.
