Released tonight it already has ~200 finishers on the first few internals which is a good start!

A few ideas for getting new people to stay and improve skills:

- Uploading different replay collections in the workshop (if possible). Recpacks should be sorted from the absolute most basic techniques of finishing each level, call it "Level 1", to WR-recs in "Level 5". New players can get help if they're stuck or get new challenges if they want to improve their skills.

- Streaming EOL on Twitch. Is anyone comfortable doing this semi regularly? Camera, mic and maybe key input overlay.

- Tutorial videos posted on a common Youtube channel, maybe in the same manner as "Level 1" to "Level 5" above. Can also make videos of winrecs from fm weekly, upcoming WC and similar and post those. Maybe we can get some followers and get the community growing.

I believe it's important to show the complexity of the game, hence the focus on showing what can be done and teaching how it's done. After this they're hooked :)

Vanilla Steam Elma is somewhat improved Elma from 2000. EOL is still separate for that, but you can install EOL on top of your Steam Elma installation (subscribe to EOL workshop item) and play EOL through Steam. The Steam leaderboards and the EOL database are currently mutually exclusive, meaning you either drive vanilla Elma and get your times into the leaderboards but not into EOL (meaning no WRs etc), or you play EOL but don't get your times on the Steam leaderboards.

IMO if elman wants elma to get many new mans into elmans, and he happens to own elma on steam, he should write good review.
There's a site featuring "hidden gems" on steam. I personally found there a dozen of super good games which I wouldn't find different way. It relies on good reviews and imo elma is ez 100% good reviews
