Do you use sounds when you play?

Post by Aragorn »

I was just wondering, what do you like about elmasounds? Do you use them when you play? If not, then what do you listen to while playing?
Personally I hate those sounds... just can't stand 'em.

(Lucky to have my mp3 collection :D)

For example, if you watch recs you have to use sounds since sometimes you can't see if the person is using an alovolt at some place instead of a normal volt (or vise versa), it's the same with gas.

But mostly I listen to MP3's while playing but the volume isn't set up very loud so I can barely hear the bike voices as well.

I have no sounds...I watch replays with sounds though. Hasn't this topic been up before, or, parts of it anyway?

I use sound very often when playing...I like the sound in the game :P
Sometimes I play MP3 while playing and then I also can hear the sound from the game...
But when I listen to some CD or MD I can't :(
Actually I play better when I listen to good music (or atleast I think I do)

Weird how some of you hear both the mp3 and the ingame sound...they're both on the wave thing on the sound manager, and one of them should mute the other. With CD on the other hand, you should hear both sounds because CD isn't wave.

I started not using Elma sounds awhile ago to conceal the fact I was playing Elma...

Now I rarely use them, thay tend to distract me, and I have to fiddle around a lot to get them to a good volume.

So I rarely use them.

That is because my computer is connected to my music-stereo-thing so the computer sound come out of it's speakers (way better than sucky computer speakers) and when I hear CD's it's from my music-stereo-thing and when that's on CD, the sound from my PC is dissabled...but when I'm hearing MP3, both the music and the elma sounds come from the PC, and the music-stereo-thing is on "video" so I hear that !
What a long post...

of course no sounds, turned sounds off right when installed elma for the first time......though some recs needs sounds turned on, you cant always see if he presses brake or releases gas for a while

I always have the sound on. Not becaues it's great (and it isn't) but because it's f*cking hard to drive without it.
<Fihlvein> another case of zworqy-is-always-right closed i guess
<yoosef> zworqy doesnt suck at anything
