It's would be just like some other level-pack! So I think a new OLP pack would be unnecessary!

If there would be one I would send bout 30 levels. If not i'll make an own levelpack with own table of it.

I think it would be cool with national level packs like RLP.
NLP: norwegian
SLP: swedish
FLP: finnish
HLP: hungarian
and so on. What do you guys think about that?

i think there is enough levpacks.
already 0lp, lost internals, Alp, old school, Rlp etc.
why to make new levpack because always happens same thing that ppl gots bored.
enough is enough. useless to make whole new levelpack because they'll never be as hoyled as internals.
internals are just legendary.
ALP's is the best levpack

Obviously not as much as now, but they would probably still be quite popular. Of course it would also depend on how when they were released and how popular the site they were on was.

the fact is, anything which is "offical" is played alot.

take a look at OLP, most of the levels are non-innovative and boring, still they are still pretty popular. IF there were an update on OLP every sunday like on internals, and the table would be as good looking as with internals, it would be even more popular.

But if internals, lets say, suddenly just "were" just another external pack, they would make hardly any difference to other nice levpacks like ALP.

Why is it then so difficult to create "the next big thing" levelpack which would become next popular thing than internals? well, basically, the main problem is that they are externals. im not quite sure if there is a tool to make an internal pack of external files (propably is), but it doesn't help much at all, because people like simplicity, and as elma is so simple game, no one bothers to tweak that kind of stuff.

I really think the best soultion would be to comeone who can code, to make a patch, which would only include an option to play regular internals, or "new internals", exactly the same way as they are played now. state.dat should be exactly same thing. this could be organized by moposite so that for example, there is three months time to send in levels by all of us, and then some group of people would choose for example 54 levels which would be the "new internals". it's important that the group is not too small who would decide which levels are chosen, because they should have variety, but still not just "stupid" and sensless.

i dont think it's difficult to accomplish at all.
we just need a guy like Hibernatus, who would be the best to do the "coding part". Think about it, after that patch, there would be NO differences in real internals, and new internals as for the system. same state.dat system and all.

What do you think of this idea?

i'll tell you why I think that ext. aren't like int.
well, most of the extrenals are trappy and very hard. WCup levs are really extreme.

now, people like me, without wonderful skills, searching for easy levels, who doesn't force you to make some crazy tricks and doesn't have about 20000 possible shortcuts.

the death-trpas in the internals are rare. they have simple looking, and you're not knocking your head in every corner. btw, the internals always have the ez main route, so beginners could complete the level too (for example : long haul, ramp frenzy, the steppes, freefall, lab pro and more).

I like this idea ;)

Would be sooo cool.

But it will only be a big succes if there will be made all the things also for these new internal. ec. National records, top 100, totaltimes, n00b records...

MagnusB, would you explain why do you dissagree?

In my opinion new pack of internals (with unlock ability) would be god damn cool. I'd like to have more hoylable and battlish levels, and absolutely no levels like labyrinth pro.
