IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY!!!

I know Sandels has set mode +l 101 (or higher) on a few occasions, but he's known for keeping it under 100. And of course he "quits" in splits like everyone else, but you know what I meant, [chux]!

The only nearby countries to portugal are spain and morrocco, and both of them have not a server. Spanish connections are allowed in .fr and .be, but .pt have still only the international/us servers, that are all down atm.

Lots of people from non ircnet countries seem to be having this problem since some days ago, i've read in the ircnet forum. If you guys know of an alternative international server, just post it.

I used to connect via that server too, but since a few days it's been impossible to everybody, so there's no international server. That's what i was talking about.

New international server needed urgently.

the nearest server for me is half the world away, so you dont just have to try connect to spain, try some US server, there is lots more than one, or even try the uk ones, i can connect to them from nz so i cant see why you shouldnt be able to from there

The question is this stuff works in country networks. For instance, Spain doesn't have a server, so they must connect to a server from another country, and in their case that's Belgium, not the nearest country. Spanish ips won't be allowed in Italy servers for ex, and only a French host hosts them. For Portugal there are no i-lines, except the international servers of course, and those international servers (there where 2 of them, stealth and irc1.us.net) are currently down. So in countries without i-line protocols people will have to connect through irc html based applets. Aus and NZ must have i-line protocoles with servers from the country you connect to. I probed all the servers from accross the world and no connection still

so i guess i'll have to settle to mongo that irc applet. (shiat, reading all that ircnet.com info makes me feel nerdy

)
