help with new wave

Post by Subbaman »

no matter how hard i try, i CANNOT get the first apple on new wave. i don't see how it's possible to get without falling off the platform. (i'm talking about the one directly above the little slanted platform)

Yes it's hard, but you will just have to try over and over again. And as jonsi said watch a few replays.

c'mon you useless guys! i'll tell you how :
you know whats alovolt? then when you land on that polygon vertically, do it. alovolt till you land. oh, and press the alovolt 0,5 seconds before you need it, it takes some time to do it.

and training level (editing the internal level and putting the start position where you need it) should help here.

good luck!

the trick is not to volt until you are very close to the wall

i remember when i first started i was volting up much too soon, and missing the apple every time

but that trick should be the least of your worries on New Wave :(

Imagination got ruined by pre-mature replay watching perhaps ;)
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?
