Maybe because some people don't only work at their desks and value portability? Just an idea

Yes. I move my laptop(s) all the time around my flat. I just took the old screen cos I'm doing some more serious coding right now and I needed 2nd screen. This is all temporary setup.

Don't make fun of Chris. In Poland laptops are handed down from generation to generation and only the richest of the rich have one in their family.

I'm a poor college student living on my own. The stationery computers that I hope to get are too expensive for me so I have been using a laptop ever since I moved out of my parents place. I am inspired to have something like insane guys setup though hehe

Didn't even know Chris was polish :p

Ville: that's one of the reasons why I'm planning to get a laptop eventually ;) prolly this autumn even. And I still don't have one because I never really felt the need, + I've been a PC fanboy since early schooldays

Let's revive this topic, I want to see what your setups looks like now.

6 years since my last post here. 99% has changed since then. Moved twice, new desk, new chair, new keyboard, new mousepad, two new monitors, new headset, new computer, the only thing that's the same is the mouse.

my "hoylstation" is any pc capable of running elma at a minimum of 30fps and a working keyboard. my "ultimate hoylstation" (one that i prefer @home) is same but change elma to eol and fps to 100
no need to go fancy, anything else would be a waste of money
