If elma was an Olympic sport...

Post by sierra »

which nation would win? probably Finland, although these days the Russians could probably give them a run for their money...

Also, who would be in each country's team, let's say there were just 4 people per nation

in GBR i would say MJXII, [chux], MozMan and myself

but that's also because those are pretty much the only british guys i know :?

wow.. i make canadian elma olympic team :O although ciph would be good to have in our team... unless he lost his hoyla skills for not playing for a while... darm would surely make the russian team anyway.. and now that i think of it, a canadian elma meet would be pretty cool :D

I don´t know that many swedish dudes but for what I know I think John, Luther, jeppe and Ramone/Oizo/Limpan/MadMan....would be a good team, don´t know who would take the forth spot :)
I don´t get it.

For the olympics there are certain requirements to paticipates, I don't know exactly but like u have to do over 2 meters in high jump or something, so in elma it would be like you have to have under 41 TT or something.

And neither are there the same amount of players from each country, if like one country have many good players (finland) they get many players to the olympics, and nations with not so many (good) players not so many paticipates.

So if elma was in the olympics, (which would rox) it wouldn't be with like 4 players from each (elma) country, if it was then there would be alot of players not going that is better than some that are going for the olympics.

It would be with the best players in the world.

If you look carefully you see him saying "41 TT or something". And yes, you are good enough.

The only thing is that

BoneLESS = Québec
ColoAvalanche = Québec
Pedro = Ontario
Juish = Kitchener ( don't know where it is... )
Ciph = British Colombia
Cypress = Victoria
...

Some are further than others.... ( something like 2 or 3 days away between Québec and British Colombia ! )

If elma was in the olympics, it would be more popular, so there would come more players, and that means more better players than me, so I would have no chance in contests. hmm.. But it would be cool. :wink: :lol:

Kitchener...heh

I think there should be a Nation Cup, its been discussed but never done...
Itd be so cool to see which 4 kuskis each country picks
Mozman doesnt play anymore (I think), so GBR would have to be: MJXII, Me (woo!), then two from Sierra, James and Python...

Whoa I make the Canada team 8O But I would be the one who would be replaced if another comes :(
And yes, Kitchener is in Ontario. Canada is too big for a meeting though

We can make a contest with that, the "Olympic elma contest" :wink:

i remember that discussion about the nations cup. i liked it. but for it to go very well and to be popular, it must be official in some way, not some guys with some unknown site organize it. but anyway, i think wcup5 is more expected nwadays than a nation cup.
