3) WNO/AC/CF (can't decide)

1) Zweq (soo great times lately and better tt than dmd had)
2) t0r (don't have to say much about him, i think he'll be back with smashing times and tt soon)
3) Luther/Karlis (can't decide again, both have cool times)

- Externalist
1) axxu (cos he rulez almost every levpack)
2) ANpDaD (RLP/Lost/ALP)
3) Jeppe (skint-levs/mini-internals)

- Battler
1) Markku
2) John
3) veezay

2) Downhill
3) Bowling

- Style

2) Zig-Zag by ramone
3) Bowling by magicman

- Replay

2) Zig-Zag by ramone
3) Bowling by Luther

- Lev designer

All votings by order:

- Team (i'm not evaluating best skills, but rather teams that seem to work as one)

MAN - do extremely well in external contests
COS - always talking, nice irc channel
ICE - best internalist team, site, rec packs, those wr taking between them are cool (circu, haircut)
FM - site, fem04, internal skills, glamour :>
TAP - many iniciatives, very nice levpack, site, #battle, cup
TLR - nice spirit, #battle
OOK! - always at least a couple of them when you get to see team name ain't it

- Internalist
ZWEQ - insane wrs, tt nearest to wr tt ever, by far best tt, insane wrs seemingly very ez (tag in 15 mins)
TOR - very nice wrs and styles, 2nd best tt, amazing 24h tt
LUTHER - the long lev shortener, he seems to focus on those 54 levs more than anyone else, has made wrs that are the most detached from 2nd best time (check bowl, dh, and until last week lp, all about 3 secs faster than the 2nd time)
KARLIS - neverending record taker, holds the record for most tables with wrs, for one who doesn't know him very well (like me) he seems a database of wr history, gives very nice tips too
CLOUD - shame is not been so active last few months, but still crazy times since gaa03
JOHN - does he ever stop lowering
JALLI - don't give him any styles
RAMZI - 38 seems really easy for this guy atm, look how fast he's managed to lower to 39.1x
ZARAPTOR - crazy doing top times, i dunno how he is still unnoticed, every week some new top10

- Externalist
AXXU - he just should win this, he seems to be everywhere, doing well in almost every single lev pack, cup and contest
The whole team [MAN], at the top in pretty much every cup pwning
RED - pipe cup, smash cup
Crazy - simply maddest hoyla
JEPPE - skint levs
AMPDAD - alp
NH - alp
BARTEK - kinglist
PSY - when he's around, usually gets what he wants,

- Battler

MARKKU - he wins them with clueless styles and exquisite skills, one has to see it to believe
ZWEQ - mad styler, if he's there his name is usually after this in results: "1."
JOHN - good in every kind of lev, all round excellent player, especially impressive in any headbanger lev (dunno how he hasn't got wr in that internal sooner)
JEPPE - uncredible skills doing about everything you can do in a lev
VEEZAY - dominates hoylish levs, at a few weeks time his name was top in like 80% of all battles
LAZY - old schoal, devastating when on form
MADMAN - recently battles are all about him

- Rookie (appart from sierra dunno if others i nominate fit here)
AXXU -
ZARAPTOR -
CAEZAR -
SIERRA -

- WR (i'm guessing it's current wrs, or it would be like 'styles' category)

downhill
grav ride
tricks abound
enduro
animal farm
bowling
turnaround
shelf life
curvaceous
expert system

- Multi WR
dunno really, tor and tantal wr taking frenzy was pretty impressive

I'm thinking of excluding Moposite in best site category. If you have arguments why it should be excluded please tell here. Don't bother to comment if you don't want it to be excluded.

zweq had wr 1:01:0x before I beated him, he used about same style; Brutal, + straight uphill. I just made some developing, as always when ppl beat wrs. And now zweq did some Major developing it seems, zweq soon 57 :*

And about excluding moposite from Best Site, I was 100% sure allready it wouldnt be in that category. As BarTek said, Rabbit vs Snails. But then, is that a argument for excluding? I mean, it is THE site. And it is held by 2 normal guys pro bono... so why shall they not get cred for that? They wont be in vote cause they do too good work? well, not very fun with Moposite in... but. Weird to exclude.. like escluding DMD from last GAA´s Best Kuski cause he was so dominating?
Yet I feel sometimes Moposite is so big other sites have troubles growing, but then it is very good it feels so "official"... and well.. It is no doubt the best site. And mopolauta, that from time to time is great. (if it isnt clear yet I am not sure whether I think Moposite should be excluded or not yet).

Facts: Only reason to exclude Moposite is cause it so obviously would win. That is not a reason. When it´s obvious someone will win an election, who would ever exclude him/her?

Just hit me: reason to exclude; Moposite is not as other pages cause it´s Official Page and not a "fan-page". Wrong, it is a Fan-page. Just that WR-table happens to be held there. And that is FAR from whole moposite, mere a small part of it. So. Include Moposite damn it. No site it better. The "owner" of the site that gets 2nd should be glad with that.

(I know it may feel weird for you Abula to decide a price for yourself, cause you will win, but life offers these situations. Just Smile!)

I vote for the Rabbit. If the snails wanna win the better buy a motorengine! If they don´t give enough effort they get 2nd. They can´t exclude the winner.

Here's my list of suggestions for candidates. I made topics and suggestions in bold so they would be easier to distinguish from other babble.

Internalist

1. Zweq - Undoubtedly the best internalist out there.

2. TorInge - Along with Zweq belongs to the dynamic duo that's light years ahead of others.

3. Karlis - A living legend. Karlis is like a wine that only gets better as time goes by. Recently made an impressive comeback after a little less active period (at least wr-wise) with a massive bunch of wrs that seem to be as easy for him to drive as it is for SoC to stay incoherent. Dominates the "veteran list" (tables with WRs) and is at the top, or close to it in almost all other internal stats as well. Good examle and target of idolization for n00bs and advanced kuskis alike. You can't spell wr without an r (Which can also be found in "Karlis").

Externalist

1. axxu - Has won numerous small cups and done really well in some of the bigger ones. Has energy to participate in cups and contests no matter how small they are.

2. The OooO - Mysterious kuski with massive amounts of good results in various cups and contests

Battler

1. Markku - Easiest choise of all (not including best site category). Simply THE battler.

2. veezay - Terribly good. No point in playing when veezay is around. SveinR's KOM description was accurate. veezay wins battles.

Rookie

1. axxu - axxu is a new rising star on the elma sky. Definitely the most accomplished rookie.

Designer

1. MP - Amazing level designer. A real creative artist who never runs out of new ideas. Also invented the "txt file in cuplevzip" -system which has been later adopted for more or less flawless use by other cup and contest holders.

2. Ville J - Creates extremely beautiful and visually appealing levs that also have excellent gameplay and trick inventory. Also made the astonishing Pirate.lgr.

Team

1. FM - Not much competition in this category as far as i'm concerned. FM is the definition of a great team. Enough said.

WR

1. mr's 40,69 in Quick Round - Whoops, suddenly the wr is over 6 seconds better. Alrighty.

Multi WR

1. ramone's and BarTek's 18,37 in Enigma - Amazing time with amazing style. ramone manages to drive perfectly, despite of BarTek's attempt to distract him during the last seconds. (Just kidding, okay?)

2. mr's and ramone's 35,60 in Zig-Zag - This is what you get when two pro players get together to play with a great style.

Style

1. Zweq's Zig-Zag - One of the most obvious styles but also one of the hardest to explain to someone while keeping a straight face. It was widely considered to be theoretically possible if you just could get enough speed... if you just could bounce... (Edited the style inventor from ramone to Zweq. (Sorry zamper, didn't know it was yours originally :*))

2. milagros' Curvaceous- I think this one really surprised everyone. At least i was like "riiiight" when I saw the rec of it. Looks so far fetched that it's hard to think that anyone could invent something like this unless passed out in the backyard of a merged saw & apple company from licking too many poisonous toads...

Replay

1. Jalli's Impsybility easy version - I know many people don't appreciate pipe replays, but i'm not one of them. Absolutely mad replay. You can easily endure the slight dizzyness because it's definitely worth it. Jalli seems to have an innate ability to survive his pipedriving style, it's quite remarkable really. Finally a little waring: If you are epileptic, stay away from this replay for your own sake.

2. TorInge's Enduro - Can you say "clean"? I can't because i just watched the rec and now can't find my lower jaw. I have a small place and not much furniture but still... i know it's on the floor, maybe it rolled under the bed...

Level

1. Motion Combo YYY by MP - Your first thoughts when playing this lev are probably: "Wow, this is long. Really long. Hmmm doesn't this ever end? Hey, come on, this is just ridicilous! Ok finished, but this lev is definitely too long." I know mine were. But later on you realise that it's really a masterpiece.

2. Almost Forest by Ville J - This is a lev that I höyled excessively during King Cup. With a wrong style I might add. And no, the pipe doesn't count as style  An excellent cup lev.

3. Chain lev by various designers - Obviously many people thought that a massive chain lev with huge amount of makers would be a giant flop, i was one of them. Luckily BarTek, the leader of the project, had enough vision to greatly limit the polygon and vertex number that each maker could use. Granted, it was also because limitations in the editor, but BarTek also required that each part, on it's own should be easy and simple. And so the chain lev turned out to be magnificent cruising lev.

LGR

1. Ville J's Pirate.lrg - I've never really liked different lgrs. I only use default and HighQ. When i tested Pirate.lgr it was almost a shock. It's so smooth and balanced. It doesn't jump at you or hurt your eyes in any way. Best non-default-based lgr I've seen.

Contribution

1. Abula's work with Moposite - After long army, many people thought that abu wouldn't be interested in Moposite anymore, or at least not as much as before. Little did they know. Abula is back with seemingly endless amounts of energy and Moposite, the heart of elma keeps pounding stronger than ever. (I think i got something in my eye..)

2. px's work with wr updates - Travels all around Finland and beyond and still has time to do wr updates. And if he doesn't, he informs about it in Moposite news. Exemplary work. Respect.

3. skint0r's work with battlebot - When MagnusB left, #battle lost a precious tool, battlebot. And it soon became obvious that #battle would never rise to it's former glory without it. Luckily there was one man who would bring light to darkness. One man who wouldn't be afraid of the adversities. One man who would bring back something that was thought to be forever lost. That man was skint0r. Enough said.

Achievement

1. TorInge's 37 min 24h TT - I'm starting to think that TorInge should change his nick to TIM, accoring to an old PC game TIM -The Incredible Machine. Eventhough TorInge is an internal expert of the highest caliber, and has maps and button timing patterns in the autoplay system that he has deep in his spinal cord, and not in his hard drive like one certain ex pro kuski, this kind of accomplishment still seems inhuman. Luckily there were witnesses. Truly, truly amazing.

Site

1. Moposite - Absolutely, positively and undisputedly the best elmasite. Ever. No contest.

Abula, no need to exlude Moposite. I may have spoken too hastily last night. I know it needed/needs alot of work and Moposite deserves the acknowledgement for being the best.

Instead of excluding Moposite, maybe there could be awards for top2 in this category, or maybe even a new category could be added: "Best Non-Moposite site".

Moposite arranges the awards and it would be good to exclude the arranger. But with same logic we should exclude the whole jury too. I don't know. Maybe we should choose actually the best Non-Moposite Elma site or 2nd best or something. More interesting.

i dont think it is fair to exclude moposite just because they are the arranger, and yet i also think to have it in the best website award is not really promoting others to make great sites for such awards and the greater elma good because they know moposite will win, how about we give moposite some honourary elma award or some lifetime acheivement award, this way, moposite still gets the gratitude that it certainly deserves and others get a shot and website category, i think maybe the same applied to abula and px, give the some lifetime contribution award or something, maybe this is not so fair but it would pave the way for others to win such

Crazy, so nice of you to ask whether the serpents style was mine or t0rs, but I had nothing to do with that style, it was first tried by magicman who gave the idea to t0r who hoyled it or simply made it, dunno if i can talk about hoyling in tors case. well just what ive heard from magic...

Also one other thing in my mind: strange that people says 'ramones zig zag' since I made it much before and gave the style to ramone (thou he said afterwards he knew the style). Of course it was already known style even before my wr, brutal, mid bounce etc. but its VERY wrong to say ramones zig zag. rather say zeizeis route what I did better and again ramone made better and faster than I, which means add some lil tricks to already existing route. impossible to define which style is whose, but ive noticed that the one who publishes rec gets the credit, fuck that ok

Heah, I've given that style to Tor long time ago too, but I think I wasn't the first one :). It's a very obvious style (even I discovered it) and it's very hard to say, whose style it really is. Probably half of the elma scene has discovered it but thought it was impossible or too hard.

There are MANY people suggesting the nominees according to their/its recent performance and actions.

I would really like to point out it's the time interval between February 2003 (last GAA) until the day the top10 of each category has been chosen.

For example, veezay, I think those styles were invented & driven considerably earlier.

My list later.

There is a 'monopoly' argument which would support the exclusion of moposite from the awards. In almost all developed economies of the world, the government makes some effort to keep markets competitive. One of the most fundamental ways in which they do this is to limit the size or power of single firms. When one firm gets too dominant (in the UK they define this as >25% market share) they step in and usually they try to reduce its power. Now I'm not suggesting that we delete pages from moposite or remove the WR table or something, but we can at least say that to keep the GAA 'competitive' we should have only smaller websites.

Although there are economic arguments that would support keeping moposite in, so I don't know what to believe.

don't forget nh in contribution catagory,
he've made the besttime remover and the xp elma optimizer.
Both these apps are rather unknown but still very great and essential elma tools.

go nh!

xp elma optimizer isn't recommended to use as far as I know. It has messed up people's systems, hasn't it?

Third step:
The criteria of being allowed to vote are: well-known kuski (decided by the jury) and the kuski have posted some suggestions in first step (so we see that he has been active during the whole process)
so the first should be: "unless you do give suggestions" ?

I'm not too active nowadays except some battling and ircing, but..

Internalist:
Zweq
Toringe
John
Karlis

Team:
[MAN] - always good in cups.
[WNO] - cool team hanging around a bit everywhere
- notice me not mentioning [ICE] they are just a mix of very good ppl, but not so many achievements for that big good team, of what i've heard about [ICE] i don't think they are a good "team", someone didn't know a bout a new member, and other think some in team cheats because of nice achievement.. if compared to IC i think they were better and i liked that team more untill it went mad so therefor:
[IC] - doesn't exist but was a r0xx0r team

Exteralist:
AxxU
The OooO
Munkki
Jeppe

Battler:
Lazy
Markku
Zweq
veezay
John

Rookie:
Sierra
aavv

WR:
Tricks Abound (Zweq) - gotta be cool rec.

Replay:
King Cup 02 (dz)

Level:
King Cup 04 (MP) - I remember how i fell in love with it.

Level Designer:
Undiente - he makes fun battle levs
insane guy - also good levs for battling
MP - not so actively :/
skint0r - not so actively :/

Contribution:
byxorbot or battlebot or whatever (skint0r)
milagros for anticheating

- to be edited if i find more
