Aussie Meeting?

Post by JeMsTaR »

hey guys, i was just wondering, when we gonna have an aussie meeting?
I'm sure there's enough of us on the east coast (and the west if you could be stuffed) to have a decent one....

But then again... we're aussie... we can't be stuffed for anything lol

Hmm you live in queensland, that means 14-16 hours travel or a 4 hour plane trip, most of the active players live in melbourne...some in NSW, and a location would be hard to arrange, I dunno if there is a place 1-2 hours travel away from here, I'm willing to come and if its the right time :D

so everyone still peed off at haydonator and the rest, perth also home to the worlds best girl kuski; agent vet, who might i add has better times than u. anyway none of us play elma anymore, i feel quite sad about being on mopolauta but holidays boring and it is novel to relive elma days, aghh an elma meeting what fun that would be, don't mean to be harsh but do u really want to have a social gathering based around a 2D computer game, c'mon. mmm how old are u guys now like eighteen, please for your own sake give up the elma scene. no offence intended

Yeah, not gone just quiet. I could drive, but i work full-time, and would find it difficult to justify to others here:
"Yeah, I'm gonna drive these fiveteen year olds to Victoria to play computer games."
Next thing you'd see me on the news with the rest of those pedophiles.
Trains/Buses don't cost that much and planes neither, especially if you go Jetstar or whatever. With fuel prices these days, it'd be cheaper than driving.

haha lolz im fiveteen :P

yeh jetstar sounds the best option, i been on it from rocky to bris, about $50 at crap times, about 99 bucks or something for bris to melb, better than fuel. and it would also have to be in the school holis and i would have to get time off work

aus elma meet...sounds cool, but i'm not sure. what'd we do? play a bit of elma? it'd be weird because we're all different ages. it'd be cool when we're all 18+, then it'd HAVE to be melbourne. btw i'm living in melbourne these chrissy hols, so if anytime...

I think an elma meet would be ok in Melbourne.....I really don't plan to play elma ether, and it would be good if everyone was 18+... so we can go do more stuff :P

its fair to so that not a lot of elma will be played/talked about at all.

therefore, i would see it as a more of a social thing.

would be great to get to know some aussie players and even get drunk with them and say typical stupid drunken comments.

i would also only go if it were in melborune of course. even though i would like to meet you all, i am not going to go to great lengths to talk about elma and drink a few beers when i could do that by myself.

it would actually be quite funny to imagine an elma related meeting that is hardly related at all.

Abula wrote:Actually I liked that drunk thingie.

You have 6h time to play and during that period you must drink 3 litres 5% beer. After you have drunk all that 3 litres you can play the rest time. So if it takes 30mins to drink that you have 5h30mins time to play. You are not allowed to spit or puke. Of course this could be done only under control = in the meeting.
sach coal aus meet idea :P

Things I must know about this meeting:

1, Where will this be held?
2, Are you hinting we can use your apartment? If so where is the location?
3, What time is everyone available, coz most of summer I'm not free :]
