So it's obvious what I'm trying to obtain with this topic. Many of us tried it several times, but it has never been organized successfully. There were some meetings, where foreign kuskis were participating as well. I know two of these: ZET3, when I and milagross met in Hungary, and FEM04, when krychek travelled to Finland to visit his Finnish elma friends. But these meetings were not real international ones. One foreign kuski is not an amount. And two nations neither.

So, I'm planning to organize a meeting, where many countries' kuskis would participate. Of course I wouldn't organize it alone. It's the hardest work ever in the Life of the World Elma Scene. We must unite.

As I have been on many elma related meetings in my life (more than 10), I know, that it's the best thing ever in Elma. You may hÃ¶yl some levs like hell, and if you manage to run a WR, then you will be very happy at the first time. But what if you have your 20th or 30th WR? Is it still so enjoyable?
Meeting with your internetfriends is something, which you will never forget. I remember my first ever MET (Magyar Elma TalÃ¡lkozÃ³ / Hungarian Elma Meeting). And I will never forget, when the kuskis arrived with the bus. Meeting MUe, MGen, Trabi etc was something to remember. Meeting those people, that were the biggest hÃ¶ylas, or made elma scene, to be like that it was. And the competitions were funny as well. But later we realised, that a meeting is not enough. A half day is very few for doing so many things, that we wanted. So this year, we organized a camp, that longed for 5 days. Finally we had a chance to talk in real life for as long as we wanted. We played football, ping-pong etc allday-everyday. We went into the lake Balaton each day. And on the last night we went into the city SiÃ³fok, to have the first ever Elma Party. It was unforgetable. Those, who participated, know what I'm talking about.

So ppl, I'm waiting for your replies, your comments, your advices.

The most important is: where will it take place? Maybe Germany or Denmark would be the best?

also mrickx came once to FEM2002(?) and some swedish guys to last FEM2004

The most important things is to find a place and date. Before that people can't really say whether they will be able to come or not. Also the number of participants will change all the time and that makes it a bit difficult. Maybe you (we) should define some prepay. Sample: people who pay 20e before 1 Jan 2005 will get cheaper camping rent prize than people who will decide later. Yet those 20e prepay people will lose their money if they cannot come afterall. Maybe those prepay people would pay 40% and the rest people 60%. There can be several deadline dates and the later you announce you're coming the more money you have to pay.

In the ideal area there would be maybe one hall for computers and small rooms or cottages for sleeping. And then some chilling places. Maybe some camping area actually would do it...

We have to decide the date as soon as possible so people can mark it to their calenders and thereby will be able to come.

Someone could do some countings how much it would cost. I'm pretty sure that at least 1-2 cars would come from Finland. So cool trip indeed! I'm interested in camping prizes, food, drinks. Petrol is easy to count when we know the place.

Germany and Denmark would be fine for us at least.

Denmark is maybe better for northern countries, and of course, there are more Dannish kuskis, than German. A camping place would be the best, if we don't want to play too much for appartments... and why would we?

And of course, we don't come to sleep, rather to meet each other, and play some Elma. I don't know the costs in Denmark, so some Dannish guy should reply ASAP. Maybe 10euros per night per person. But it depends on, where we get our stay.

As I know the Hungarian kuskis, we can expect about 1 car, or maximum 2 cars. But I must not say anything for 100% sure. Who knows what happens?

BTW, laptops are needed. The EZerest0r way to bring your computer and your elma related staffs, isnt' it? Maybe I can get my father's too, but there's only a little chance... let's hope so.

And the date. Of course in summer. That's for 100%. But in june, july, august? For me july or august would be the best... august more likely.

Own computers are necessary. Also you cannot enjoy the meeting if you are dead tired all the time.

I agree Denmark or Germany (there aren't many players, but thats the best in it) could make it.

As for payment, i f it was held in Denmark where petsen wants it (great place, we already did an elma lan there)
I could lay out the money for it so ppl dont have to prepay, as long as you remember to pay me when you get here ;)

Plus i know Vandmand already has a sponsorship from coca cola and KIMS (Potato chip company) set up for the next danish elma lan

Denmark would be great, but Germany could be better.(because football WC is in Germany next summer!!!)

If the lan is goin to be in Denmark. We danish kuskis can go to Germany and buy beer and stuff. You can get 72 beers(3 cases of 24 each) for about 100 dkr, which is about 13-14euro's I think. This proberly isn't cheap for guys coming from Hungary and other countries further south. But I know it would be for guys comin from Norway and Sweden... and mayby Finland, don't know the cost of beer up there.

I don't know, how many of you are coming to the Wacken Open Air Festival in 2005, but I will. It will be held in Wacken (wow,

), and in between august 4-6. After that, we could make that NET in Denmark, as Wacken is about 100 kms from the Dannish border.

What do you think?

no not on my com. But I held my 18th birthday there and we used half the room and we were over 60 ppl there partying.. the danish elma guys were there too so they can verify that it IS big enough. + I know the owners pretty well, so I dont think that there would be any problem in renting it, as long as they dont have to use it.. so we just find a date where its available for as many days as we want.
