Haven't seen the Multi Wr style so not sure... but maybe this is possible and faster than the current style..

http://mxb.dk/upload/48MaybeX.rec

Edit:
Kinda sure it is possible... at least with bug bounce.... but if it's faster that's the big question.

If you get up on that polygon you jump just under in your rec you're still missing an apple. A quite sick bounce would be needed to reach that. :)

i mean to bounce over to apple... or hang on that polygon if it's possible.
My best bounce so far:

That might be faster but its one of those things that u gotta slow down for...

I think Xiphias's recs were faster (cuz he had lots of speed and bounced over the section from the bottom of the 'U')

It doesn't matter really, world class players does the same things without even spitting towards vsync settings.

Dunno for sure if wc players dont care about vsync things. If it is easier to do some trick with vsync off, why not change?
And btw, max style, someone could hoyl taht :)

experiment a bit with Hz and resolutions and you can get it to work, though its still a bit harder to get through than with ON =)

vsync is an option that changes the physics in elma, called "tuning". thats all you need to know.

And totally offtopic we go...
As I have told earlier, its not about the resolution or vsync, with shelf life hole all that matters is frames per second (fps)

Only because VSYNC ON limits your fps to the refresh rate(usually 60-160hz) of elma resolution you can get thru the hole. So if you are playing elma for example with the typical default settings 640x480@60hz and VSYNC ON elma wont run higher than 60 frames per second.

With VSYNC OFF your fps isnt limited to the refresh rate anymore so it can easily raise several hundreds(unless you have slow computer. I have around 600-800fps) and thats the reason why you cant get thru the hole anymore. note that turning the timer off raises fps, surprisingly much.

Selecting higher resolution naturally lowers the fps, same goes for every game, as it needs more processing. I personally had to höyl shelf life with 1600x1200 resolution to be able to get wheel thru the hole with VSYNC OFF

And that shelf life hole isnt any kind of special case, everything above goes for others same kind of tight places too

If you are interested to see your current fps in elma(also very good way to check if your vsync is really ON or OFF), try a program called FRAPS (http://www.fraps.com)

if you get >1000fps it works exactly same as 1000fps
simply if the step is 0 ms (precision is 1ms) then it skips the step

So then why did you say that "luckily" you have over 1000 fps? If it's something that anybody could do

fraps lowers fps. I can get 100 constant fps with vsync off in counter-strike and around 400-500 in elma (with map and timer off) and I guess I would get more if I didn´t need to use a program to see my fps. In CS there is an incorporated fps counter and it would be nice if elma2 came out with one too :)
