well, I think most of the hardcore höylä's have though about that style, but its kinda hard, so..... other cool style is that braking and stretching thing in the end of the platforms, but so far I have seen only a rec that was like pixel from the apple......

there was a time when i tried that scretching style really hard and it still looks very possible, still its always the same space what is at minimum between the wheel and the apple.. but its so little :?

I don't know if John's style is possible, but what about this?

I've also found a style in Precarious, but it's probably both old and too slow... but watch how I get past the killer the first time anyway: 25testzw.zip

I don't think it's possible to drop down and take that fourth apple and still hang on the platform. And if u manage to take the apple the platforms is pretty unsoft to ride on.. :)

Impossible because of the 3rd apple :(

http://vk.mine.nu/vkprivupload/wtaukrvw/15close.rec
Seems impossible too.

And about zworqy's style, seems impossible to me too.

This should be possible but maybe to slow? Or maybe you could get enough speed to do the stretch thing?

hmmm ... on the topic of Serpents, i just pålayed it a bit a few mins ago and stumbled across this little trick. If it's worked on and made a bit more perfect, then i think it can save some time. Don't mind the sucky run, i messed up pretty much

A better style on Serpents Tale after the last apple, found it over a year ago already. Never used it myself after that and probably never will, so I thought I might share it.

Not good enough I think. He's at least 2-3 seconds behind the moporec when he dies.

That's because he uses the slow old start.

Bowling

Post by Trojan »

On Bowling, aybe someone might want to try going from the gravity change apple straight up to the bunch of apples, by hitting off the wall just after it. I know it can be done at slow speed, and by the time you get to the top and change gravity, you get so much speed.
it would be difficult, but I'm sure its more direct, and faster

mh im not sure if that bowling thing is so clever
because first u gotta break and when u get up
vertically u hit the ramp too straight so u dont get over
the hump further on the right i think..

Fortunately it's easy to explain.
When you land on the ground after dropping from the polygon with the last apple, you do a bounce and jump straight into the slope on the left.
That was understandable I hope.

My ISP has some problems with the server where that file is, but it works most of the time. Same problem with moporeplays, sometimes the links don't work. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.

magic: mirror flat track, is normal fat track with left alovolt (and no right alovolt) so if you should drive mirror flat track style in normal flat track you would need left alovolt...don't you ?

well there is one style which is very possible, and so its quite obvious its the new wr style. just bump more speed with your backwheel at 4s to gain speed to fly all the way to the edge at 8s, from which u just hit your backwheel and burst to flower.
damn its annoying to start thinking new styles after you know there is one, and realize you could have been actually made it up b4 some other did.

more, hmm actually you don't necessarily have to fly all the way to the edge, you could land earlier if you get good landing..
