Loop-de-Loop isn't a loop lev Abula :P

didn't see MP mentioned it, oh well
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

wc total

Post by mrickx »

i was inspirated by Tour De France where times by etaps are counted and winner is who has the less time in end. I think its very interesting, i want make new type of contest (i will use it probably in Bobisek Memorial Cup after WC04) where wont be important points but total time in final.

milagros its only practical demonstration how can be cups in tomorrow. I maked that table for wc04 only because i dont like people who think about themself i am too good and wont send my sucky time because i will be 40. and not in top10.
This method will kuski coerce to send all event. I think everybody who plays elma have time 1h in week play a cup level and send.
Like you milagros you bored in work dont do anything how you said and dont have time for wc04? Perheps you cant play at work i understand but after work its not problem i know many people who plays in work games on much better pcs than they have at home. TorInge is also every day on #across why he did not send wc? and there are many other people.
Px could also drive better timelimit :), what is penalty time for people who dont participation in current event.
And for last its not official in wc04 are important points in final this total time is only for fun and interesting.

I also understand its not much fair for people who will be hard ill or who will hear about a cup too late and wont play because they cant take win yet. Good will be somehow compare final points with total time...

ye that tour de France idea is good, since i had thought about the same thing some time ago.

I wanted to, actually i still want to do a contest like this, it would be made out of bunch of levels (not mine), but i first want to mess around a little bit with the lgr file and import tons of new pics in it and then you'll get a lgr with many textures, rainy, sunny sky, sand, Eiffel tower, Pyramids, or whatever, stoned Senegalese ppl in Dhakar 8) , and so on.

Oh yeah, and i want to expand the original idea of Paris Dakar onto the whole globe, so everyone could send me some useful pics of your country's monuments, Sydney theatre (opera?), churches at the Red Square, and stuff like that, blaaaaaaah, millenium thing in London. But please, pics that i could actually USE!!

Millenium thingy? Surely you mean the dome! Well, no-one should make a level out of that, it'd just be a big ramp! The dome was pants anyway

Yeah, ok, ok. The wheel thing's a good idea.
Also, how about the leaning tower of Pisa...and Balazs' house!

not so good levels

Post by Kloque »

I agree with some of you, the levels arent that great. I missed the first 2 rounds!!! Dam it, oh well, I'll make the 3rd.

Whats your time so far on round 3? I got a 1:42:82 so far, but I havnt explored many different routs yet, its hard to remember where your at, a map would help alot on this lev, lol.

Oh yeah, there IS SOME grass and decoration in this lev, but I think they decided it would be too hard to make enough for the whole lev..

Your mistakes are misspelling and mine grammar. Big difference. And you do those "whit" mistakes by knowing it (I've told you about that maybe twice, which shouldn't very annoying?). At least I try to learn from mistakes.
