doing a goddamn wheelie in elastomania is about the most boring thing imaginable. on the grand scale of things it takes virtually zero skill. as a total beginner i suppose some proficiency in such basic manouevres could help you to elevate to the actual tricks needed for completing levels. it might act as a kind of foundation for 'elma touch'.
and i'm not just talking out of my ass because i can do wheelies for a long time on a (irl) mountain bike and i too enjoyed doing wheelies in Elma when i first played it. so take it from someone with experience - you need to progress to real playing man
