Who is Anthropod?

Post by Chris Penrose »

I have some really good levels from over a year ago and I don't know where the hell they came from. I think they were made for across. They're by someone called Antropod. Who is he? Tell me about him if you know anything. Feed me info. I need info.

Ye, one of the best levels in the scene history in my opinion. It's one guy who is in top10 of Wcup4 standings currently, guess :].

I guess you have the permission of the level maker to publish them here. Or?

oh come on! Levels swap hands on irc every day, all the time. You can't be serious? If you give away your level to anyone, you must just give in to the fact it will be used by ppl. The moment you actually give it away you give your permission to someone to use/abuse the level, as they have it in their posession.

Hey, that's a point. Should I take them off and ask him? I don't know how to contact him, does anyone know how?

That's another point. I did say they were made by him. It's not like I'm passing them off as my own levels.

Copyright is imperalistic, capitalistic bullshit. There is no such thing if you just don't accept it. You have the right to do whatever you want, no matter what rules ppl make up because of their own greed.

so cool to be here when many is writing! haaaah! If you publish your level you also know someone can publish it to others... Just as with the wr-replays.

Edit: It was supposed to be wcup-replays, but when i think about it, it's just like spreading your replays. Stop whining, you can't stop it.

Somehow I knew you would come up with this (check your newest Elma page yesterday) :]. It's just easier for human race to have some kind of rules (morality) which most of us follow. I don't say who is the best one making them but this world wouldn't work without any shared rules. I don't say I would like copyrights for example but I try to live with them (slave you might say).

Is this off-topic? Yes.

I personally don't mind anyone putting my levels anywhere. But if they pass them off as thier own I will come out all butch and create a psychological campaign of terror...

just a note: I think the immorality is to treat it as your personal property after you have given it away. It's like giving away a present, but setting rules of how and when it can be used..

Is this off-topic? Yes.
it's good for the mass, if we didn't have rules there would be ppl with even less morals that had the weapons. but it's still only good for the mass, cos the more intelligent ppl can easily see the flaws. but no laws wouldnt make life easier, at least the only thing u can do is "this moment"

I guess all winners know. They are deep enough in the scene to know the rules if they can win World Cup event.

At least I don't spread, for example, WR recs if and when I get them. Maybe it's the rules or the morality, don't know but in this way it's easier for me and for other people.

PS. put that peace, love thingie to your signature, ok?

Already take 3 lines. I read and follow rules when i have to, but i won't follow rules that is plain stupid and don't give any major consequenses.

i didnt want them on moposite because they are very old and sucky imo. of course its alright to swap levs in irc etc. but since i have my own site for the levs, i wouldnt like it if there was another best times table for example.

Asking permission is very kind but its hard to reach someone if you just have the levs. For example some levs on my sites "old classics" section are just taken without permission (i asked whenever it was possible), so i cant really say that you couldnt have them on your site.

Can't do that before PeXi updates WR table. And he can't update it now because his computer is broken. Later on this week we'll see if the computer gets to be fixed. Don't ask what's the problem in it.
