Wind of Change

I'm withdrawin' from Elma, so I'm spreadin' this Elasto Mania folder via torrent, organised with over 1500 kewl replays, 10000+ levels, and all teh best stuff out there, together with 64 levelpacks. That's a five years compilation. Enjoy ;)

I removed teh "ELMA.RES" file from the folder so it's teh legal way....

Elma was the game I played the longest, and was by far the most addicting one.

The reason why I stop playing is that this hobby is blocking my time for doing other activities, which God knows are more important than a virtual computer game.

I simply don't wanna wake up someday and realize that I've just lost the best years of my life; that would be stupid.

I'm gettin' up of my hoyling chair for good :D

I made an elma compilation torrent with best levels, packs, replays, programs etc. half year ago. It was only 300MB though ;)

ARGH, it's NOT ALLOWED to create phantom users. There is no option to merge nicks. What a mess, maybe I rename that simon_.. to twipley_. Annoying.

Apparently, someone is now seeding. :)

The zip file has been fully downloaded over two thousand times, but if the swarm someday dies, it would do for good, because the only backup of the game I've made is a nice little installer, which includes the ELMA.RES file, which makes it unsharable.

I've once asked Balazs for his permission for the sharing of the entire game, propounding that the process might increase his elma sales (e.g. in my case, I've been initiated to the game in an illegal manner, but have without regrets bought the game afterwards). Balazs not surprisedly declined the offer, stating that his sales were still great enough. Well. maybe in the future he will change his mind, which would make it possible for a wider audience to play the game. In the meanwhile, I believe some publicity on Balazs' part certainly wouldn't hurt. :)

I would be interested in seeing this up again.

I am offering 20 USD for a reseed (or some other action to that effect).

I am particularly interested in the replay files, and for convenience in the level files that go with them (all included in the release anyway).

The "Elma Crime" video takes up the major part of the release, so that would be unneeded if space or bandwidth is an issue,

I cannot find this release anywhere, not on the web nor at my old hometown friend's.
