Banning of Memphis

Out of a request I am asking the reason for his ban. Spamming? He states he was trying to make lauta' more active through posting. I guess if posts have a point or something of interest, no matter how many, they shouldn't result in ban. Or if that is wrong reason plz state. Also, how long will this be effective?

Nah, I think Abula would be very fine with it if his posts were many, but with decent contend. Memphis is a cool guy, but there were some, and for the moporators, too many posts with unusual/stupid comments like this one: "tij just curious why you got pic of zworgy on ur profile. If your coming out of the closet like sveinr that's fine.".

I for one, do not agree in the ban, Memphis posted short posts, but the contents of the posts in general was related to the question in the topic, and the "stupid" comments was just as stupid as anyone elses.

So remove the ban man

Well, nat really, but i think you are referring to a post made by me (although never mentiones Sveinr). but even if it would have been memphis, why ban him? That joke was in a very non-serious thread, which many of his posts were. Tij even pmed me and told me he loved this joke, so it couldn't actually have been a bad one? And hey, arn't even good jokes allowed on lauta?

the point is memphis might have posted a bit too much, but still most of the non-serious posts were in non-serious threads. And all the posts said atleast something, it was not like "DWFKd,d,d,"

Im referring to the post of Memphis, and not you Igge, what do you think man. I'm not deciding whether the ban was the right decision or not, but I'm just giving my guess on why he's banned. He posted more posts, and more offtopic posts than other members, that why I know

Better make it only a couple of days this ban, several weeks I find too much. It's only useful to show memphis how to hold back a little at some times.

It's a common sense thing, and memphis was only a slight bit past that thing, but still one step over the line. I wasn't offended by his comment, only Igge's post was more original and funnier.

stupidest thread in a while and I want to be part of it. And to avoid this post being marked as spam, I ask why bother questioning moderator decision? There wont be a change anyway. I wouldn't have been in for banning without warning, but I for damn sure dont give a damn he did get a ban either.
