I don't even know what an Elma is nowadays but I'll try my best

- Internalist - Zweq
- Externalist - fuck knows, I'll say jaytea.
- Battler - probably jaytea as well
- Rookie - Don't care, probably none of them are as good as me.
- Designer - Not been aware of any new levs.
- Team - Since it can't be [OMG], I guess [WNO] can take it.
- WR - Don't know. Ramp Frenzy I guess.
- Style - Ramp Frenzy, Hi Flyer, TT, all the ones from the skint0r video.
- Replay - Don't know.
- Level - Don't know.
- Contest - Certainly don't know.
- Contribution - Abula, for doing the irrational, infeasible and downright impossible feat of continuing this godforsaken scene for yet another four seasons.
- Achievement - lol
- Site - Moposite, for keeping my article published.
- Community Award - Probably has to be milagros for this belma.

You should probably heavily discount my votes since I get the impression I put about 1/1000th of the thought into it that some others have. Discard it altogether, if you like. Except for the 'Achievement' category.
[OMG] | [SpEF] | Apparently my TT was once 39:26:06

IMPORTANT

Regarding the Replay category: Only replays that have been publically shared as actual .rec files will be eligible for this award. So even if your run is included in the Elma Done Quick movie, it won't be eligible for the Replay award unless you have released the actual replay file.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?

hey gang

- Internalist - Zweq, obviously but i would also like to acknowledge John (who still has the best tt?) and whose overall style holds a special place in my heart

- Externalist - me, for winning every contest that i took seriously this year

- Battler - Zweq, he's on another level. me/talli/xiphias should also be honored for trying to keep up

- Rookie - Smibu seems to be doing well in battles

- WR - so many blew me away. i'd have to go with Apple Harvest since i couldnt have imagined such an improvement

- Style - again, so many. probably ramp frenzy

- Contest - personally i enjoyed Mopokup

- Contribution - mila's belma of course

- Achievement - tt under 36
im pretty good at elma

- Internalist: Zweq, for lotsa sick WRs and styles
- Battler: hard to say without any statistics but i'd say Zweq
- Rookie: Kowal, for improving tt fast (ez 38 soon, or already, temporarily he has no net), many good times (9. on O&U, 4. on Hill Legend, 7. on Circ, 9. on Bumpy) and many records of Poland
- Team: WNO for pwning the wr table and wr tt
- Style: HiFly, Ramp, AH
- Contribution: skint0r for EDQ & b.attle.info, mila for belma
- Achievement: again sick Zweq's WRs
- Community Award: mila for belma, and Zweq for pwning both on internals and balles

Omg I got a vote too, I must vote now :)
I tried to put some arguments somehow..

- Internalist
Zweq (just watch his styles in EDQ)
John (best tt and still improving)

- Externalist

- Battler
jaytea (loads of battle victories and still keeps going)

- Rookie

- Designer
Bjorn & Jappe2 (they've designed lots of levs with lots of styles with good quality)

- Team
WNO (great team tt, 35mins is only a matter of time)

- WR
Zweq's Ramp Frenzy and Steppes (max styles)
John's Headbanger (he used like every vertex to gain more speed)

- Style
Zweq's Ramp Frenzy (I just couldn't guess the 4x style until I saw EDQ)

- Replay
I'd say some rec in EDQ but I can't vote them

- Level

- Contest

- Contribution
milagros (it must have required a huge amount of time to develop belma)

- Achievement
belma by milagros
WR tt under 36mins

- Site

- Community Award
milagros for his great contribution

Kowal doesn't appear to be a rookie, look at this post from Jan 1:
Kowal wrote: Warm Up - 14,17 (my second Professional) :)
Twin Peaks - 18,04 (my first World Class) :D
he was already nolif0r enough to play elma on new years day, that doesn't sound like a rookie to me

could someone please compile a legitimate list of rookies, and could people also stop posting about categories they dont know about

u got a good point here, jt!
well, i talked abouth this case with SveinR, and isn't so clear at all
Kowal @ his kuski gallery profile wrote:Started playing in: July 2006
but in the category definition
SveinR wrote:Notes: In the Rookie category, the definition has changed: A Rookie is defined as someone who entered the scene in the GAA period.
hard to define and clearly decide what is 'joining the scene' but if it means starting to play, the nomination and award is pretty much impsy for people who started playing in the second half of a year...
btw Kowal posted those times on the 1st of Jan on polish forums too, plays internals hoyls few hours a day most of the time since he started to play (registered [maybe = joined the scene] on polish forum on the 24th of July). i'm not his fan or whatever but i just think he kinda deserves the nomination, and it's impsy to get nominated after not even 5 months of playing - previous GAAs)
i agree that it should be more clear who can be nominated in this category

when it comes to elma&GAAs imo it shoulda be someone who started to paly in the secod half of the previous year or this year. to give some chance to those 'late 2oo6' ppl and make things clear. 'joining the scene' is impsy to define and can be overused :P
but that's just my opinion and probably everyone would have his points, that's why the category is kinda weird. it surely gives motivation for those new players thoughl, so i think it is quite important

I think it's even harder to know when a kuski has started playing elma than when he has appeared first time in the scene.

And I think the current definition (something like 'entered the scene since last GAA') is conviniently inaccurate. You can of course suggest anyone you want, I think jury will decide one by one which kuskis are applicable for the rookie category.

The current Rookie definiton doesn't say anything about when someone started playing.

By the way, the Second Step of the voting process has now started, so for the community, nothing will happen until the middle of December.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

It's nobody's style. Only thing we can say is that Raven made it first.

at the end of the day noone really cares who invented it or made it first. can you tell me, off the top of your head, who invented Jaws bounce? even if you can, most kuskis cant. who do they honor as far as Jaws goes? the wr holder: Zweq. anyone can say "hey i wonder if its possible to brutal over pole in steppes", and anyone can try it for weeks and finally make lucky finish, but the person who should be held in highest regard is the person who mastered it and holds the wr: Zweq

for example, Zweq currently holds the wr in animal farm. but can you tell me who invented or finished his style first? i sure couldnt. everyone has forgotten that person

PS. can we just get rid of that category altogether?
im pretty good at elma
