aren't moving logos driving you crazy, too? me, 'yes,' and I think OtorK's logo is the worst.
all these things moving at different speeds and colors are starting to get me dizzy.
I mean, at least if they were all WNO, this would appear a little more smooth!

what do you think?

There were a lot more moving/rotating etc. team logos back in the day. I guess one reason it got less is because of Moposite's 4kB limit on logos. There are a bit more now than back in ICE's heyday though.

Anyway, logos are nice, moving or non-moving.

if a person makes a wr, i think he should at least be able to choose how his logo looks. that should be his choice and no one else's. well, maybe one shouldnt be able to have like a swastika or sach, but you know what i mean.

so i guess there is only one solution to your problem western: beat all wrs held by people who use moving logos, and replace theirs with your non-moving logos.

I meant, it's cool, but blue/red gets the attention ;)

edit: not that I can't live with it, but, as SveinR said, ICE, TEM, and zynti's bee are OK, but most other might mostly be in for the "flash" factor.

edit2: it might just be me, note too that I'm part of the minority of people who dislike emoticons! flashy stuff just tend to distract my attention too easily.

I do believe the only logo that gets annoying to the eye is WNO because there are simply too many of them.

I think WR logos are essential for the WR table. But design of them has went worse during time, especially WNO and EPO logos are boring (just black and white). But FM, ICE, zyntifox's team, HHIT and WAW logos are very nice.
NK and POL should get themselves at least some kind of logo. Only [TEAM] looks horrible.
If I made a WR I would start designing a WR logo for myself as soon as possible.

nom: maybe some day ill orka do one. Like EPO had no when Tallero made wr, but it had added afterwise then. So, maybe its possible now too, atleast when we make another wr.

not sure why people don't like WNO's logo. I think it's safisticated and ez on the eye. Only one that kinda bothers me at the moment is TEM just cause it vibrates too much. But ya I agree that every team should have some sort of logo. Jarkko [NK] kinda looks silly. Even if you just have a NK logo in black or do something like Axxu's logo where it was a black and white AC.

I never knew about the esc though. pretty cool.

I like logos but I agree that many moving ones are a little annoying. But I think that Arcao's (Stini's) one very nice

hmm, moving logos do not irritate me very much, it could be cuz of the fact, that i dont look at teh wrtable more than few minutes every time... but not having a logo of a team is rly nerdy... [NK], wtf logo is it? if it was, it would be max nicer than atm -.-

sc was and will always be the paramount of logo art in elma. WNO is a classic for me, I like it very much. EM was funny too, very idiosyncratic. Oh btw, it's hayday, not heyday.

So do you like our latest WR-logo newcomer?

I think it's pretty nice though people may have difficulties in recognizing the thing the smiley man is holding - it's supposed to be a golf club (this is Minigolfers in Elma's logo so I wanted the logo to be related to minigolf somehow). So the logo is representing a happy guy cheering for his nice golf shot =)

We had another logocandidate too btw:

This one has something to do with minigolf too: the blue ball is representing Aapeli golf's blue ball but I guess this link is pretty hard to detect. It was at least roope's favourite but after all we chose the smiley man.

Very cool! I must say I disliked the old one (table had became way too black-and-white) but this one really brings some color to there and it's general shape and animation are nice too. Maybe new logo for EPO too?
