Truly insane skills! 8O I wonder how much one needs to practise to become that good.

Yeah, I kinda agree with you there. Basically, parkour is not about jumping up onto an object, do some flip or spin, and then jump back down. It's about running, or "flowing" from point A to B without having to stop because of that very object blocking your way. Now of course you can flip over it, but not because it looks cool, but because it can be done quickly.

I can recommend watching MTV's Nitro Circus. Pastrana and his other no-fear-friends do all sorts of crazy stunts. They tried backflipping a monster truck in one ep, didn't go very well tho. They compete for longest backflip on tricycles, jump out of airplanes with no chutes, jumping out over Grand Canyon and so on.
