I wish to be a part of any new record. So please set a date. ^^

There was a time when I added grass, masks and pictures in my balle levels. Nowdays I stopped doing this casually. Imo it's not appriciated that much. I mean, so many play at low details.
... But more important, there was a time when I had fun making levels. Nowdays I feel that the levels I try to make ain't good enough for the critics.
So instead I end up making a level in 2 minutes.
Wich turns out oke as a play level for 15 min I guess, but there is nothing cool about it.

Bring back Olliz days please. I would join if more mans did care.
Dunno if this made any sence to ya'll but yeah...

Elma will die if we don't make a change.
I mean, it's already half dead.

I don't want it to die.

Peace.

Qualiti levs are still appreciated. Many mans don't put pics when they put effort into a lev, so lack of appreciation for pics doesn't mean lack of appreciation for levs. I hev very minimal LGR where pics and grass would just be out of place and ugly. Just saying peopel still care about levs. =)

These monster queues hev usually been spontaneous, and mans hev made levs without inspiration just for the sake of adding to the queue. So haven't realli enjoyed the actual balles that much. Would be nice if everyone saved a lev for sach occasion (or even just put more thought into them than 10 seconds... even liek 1 minute can make nice results, or 10 seconds if you're jblaze) if we actually planned a monster queue!

Well, which day should it be? I'm thinking friday or saturday so that hopefully people can play well into the night.

P.S. It always warms my heart when I see a battle level with grass and pictures, non-default background\foreground, etc. I love everyone who puts effort into that stuff.

Oh, too much negativity in the last posts. Not even 29 players? Check EOL statistics and notice how much players play one or more than a battle per day, week and month and your magic 29 will dissapear. Half dead? I dont think so. Why? I see battles all the time when i enter EOL, cups being started, new contests, WCup coming, im making new packs, GAA awards every year, wtf.
Ill make it clear, i never liked when a guy comes here and posts "elma is dead u nabs", "this isnt the same as before", blablabla. We are far from that luckily yet, so i dont like to hear that negativity.

On topic: this is not hard, just lets start with a day. One player can make the huge amount of two levels (one too, more too) and we will see good results, It doesnt matter if we dont reach a specific number.
About the day, i thought clearly on Sundays due that there is a lot of players on this day, but if Kucha and others think another day can be good, ill agree.
So everyone who is reading this and want to take part, please just try to make atleast one simple level, no matter if you dont use to. Im not starting new battles at all lately but ill make some levs to have a fun queue and day.

+1 sla for countering negativity :)

I'm very much in, and will happily contribute some levels with a lot of love in them :)

Imo it should be either on a Saturday or a Sunday, any other day people will be working and shit. Probably Saturday, cuz then can play both in daytime and into the night :) imo daytime balles are great because they have this kind of a light mood to them :)

Not this weekend for me tho cuz still didn't get an unbroken psu :U

Seems great idea dunno if there has ever been something like a "battle day" but kinda obvious to make one. Oldschool designers might come out from their hidings and it could attract inactive players. If we set a goal to have like most people online and longest battle queue that could help the propaganda. Make eol post about it and all the things.

Weekend is fine, I'd actually suggest a sunday but maybe people wanna drink many bears and thats usually done on friday or saturday (?).

The reason why quality levels are sometimes not appreciated might be that you don't put enough time for them. When someone makes a random simple 20 second long level, it usually has around 15 minutes of balletime, which is enough to find a good style and execute it. Then you get a high-quality multi-style two-minute level with pictures and grass and you get what, just 5 minutes more? If you want others to appreciate your level, you need to appreciate it first.

I will make a suggestion just to start with something. What about Sunday 12th February? What exact time should we set? Afternoon, night? (Next weekend starts WC7) There are 2 weeks until this, players will have that time to notice and make one or more levels. Notice that its the same day where GAA Public votes finishes but that will be at 23.59hs so i guess itll be ok.

With only 5 players adding 2 levs each one, the queue will have 10levs so imagine how much battles could be added if just a few players make one or more levels that day.
I think battles with no more than 15m or 18m as maximum will be suitable for this. Take example from 1st post image.

I'm okay with that date. Could start afternoon. I will try to prepare a FF and maybe a normal level or whatever. I agree that not too long battle would be nice. People that go on IRC, Discord, etc should spread info. :)

Interesting. Never thought there are people (especially as active as Sla), who do not know this is not possible. 8O 8O 8O

I'll join this event, if I'll be around at that time.

But... I loved how the previous record was spontaneous, which made it even more unique in my eyes. It will be still quite interesting to see how many balles mans can start.

Right, but still a lot for each player. Once your battle started you can add again. At least any player can have two battles in a specific moment.

Uhm, ya. One player can have two balles. Only one in the queue, though. Which I though was the world record about (the queue), till you posted 8O.

But I guess I just misunderstood you before (and now). I feel like pointing out the very obvious thing.

By the way: its possible that in your first lev queued there were 8 levs more, but then it starts, u add one more and the queue now has 10 or more levels, just cuz ppl who already added before (and his lev was already battled) add again and lets say there are more players connected, it will be always good to have more than a lev prepared and that will increase the chances to have a bigger queue.

Many players joined already and others that didnt write here too so we are going well. So at the moment most kuskis agreed with 12th Feb, now, what time should we set for the exact queue moment? Afternoon 15hs EET (Moposite time) or night 20hs EET (Moposite time)?

You can't plan too much. There has to be moment when there are many players in elma and then someone start asking everyone to add battle. To bring many players you can preannouce some big ff or something.

Nice to see a lot of players joining already. Talking about specific time, i think Chris is right, we cant plan too much but lets see what happend at different times. Though anyways i think itll be good to set 1 or two hs, just to get players attention.

A fine day for a battle II - Next Sunday 12th February

Time: It would be hard to set an exact time, but we can be at EOL at (all times Mopositeables) 16hs EET / 18hs EET / 20hs EET and lets see how is it going with amount of players, queue, etc. As we talked before, you can have more than a level prepared, so e.g. in case you already battled one in a 10 queue list, you can add another one later in 1h, 3h where the queue has 15 levs waiting.

I personally would go for 15hs EET since its very common time (in my head) for Elmaing and battleing. If you know the specific time you are going to add lev, please write it down so others players know it.

IMO just start adding levs whenever want, it'll start accumulating naturally when mans come whenever is the best time for them. Can make some not-so-efforted levs for earlier battles with less players if mans are afraid of "wasting" their good levs. Again, shouldn't make things too complicated, after all it's not really about beating teh record, just gathering people together to have some quality fun. That being said, I do feel like some ~16 EET is a good time to slowly get things going, and I think somewhere between 18-21 EET will be the peak (of levels in queue).
