Level editor with different LGR's (Sonic & Mario)

Hi!

First of i want to give props to the sonic and mario LGR! Those are great, and it is a shame there aint more lvls with them.

So i wanted to make some.
Which editor is best to use? is there a editor were i can import pictures from other lgr's and see them is i want to drive on the images etc?

How did he manage to make the sonic lvl so perfect to the original? What prog did he use?

The sonic lev, is to about 1/4 of the entire sega lvl.
It would be grate to continue on it, and make that S pipe etc!

The thing is that the Sonic lvl looks identical to the sega sonic lvl....so some program must have been used. As i posted i got some good pictures of entire sonic lvl's so i should be able to fix it if there is such a program.


Srsly some more sonic lvls would be awesome!!!

first lgr made by astral-r, second by Polarix. i think they used some PaintSshopPro or Photoshop, own lgr is easily made by lgrdk.

I think the best solution is something like ALE (http://zworqy.com/elmaguide/index.php?p=ale) an editor where you can see the pictures in the editor and not just sqaures like in the in-game editor.

I tried ALE, but the sonic LGR pictures wouldnt load in that prog

I cant understand how the sonic level could be made so perfect! I gotta try to PM him

I don't understand how it could not have been made so perfect? When you have the lgr with all the pictures just see the original level how it looks and make it in the editor? Sure takes some time but it's not any hard is it?

Well, ive tried, but i cant make it.

Could someone do a Sonic level?

I know Elma is old, but the scene is still alive. And it bloomed a bit when someone made the Mario levels. We all had fun with those!

There should be paypal payment for level makers =D Ill pay u in Norway at least =P

There was a thread about how to keep the community alive, simple. Answer = posting new lvls and commenting them

hey, sorry i was to post this for 3 years ago. This is a major upgrade from the first mario.lgr. This includes i dunno, 12 completed levels based on the original mario nes game. enjoy
