Community Award
This is an award decided entirely by the community. You will vote for the people you think most deserve a special honour, be it for their helpfulness, kindness, contributions or simply for being a great player. The reason will be the individual voters' own decision. The idea is that the award will go to the kuski most appreciated by the community. There will be no set of candidates to vote over in this category, each voter decides himself.
The voting process for this award is therefore different, see below.

As a gesture to the community having waited so long: This year everyone are allowed to vote! The only requirement is that you must be a unique (non-phantom) user on Mopolauta who registered before or during 2013.

Voting instructions:
This year we again use a dedicated voting site for the Golden Apple Awards. When submitting your votes there, you will be given a unique key which you can later use to load your votes and change them up until the deadline. In order for your votes to be confirmed, you must send this key by PM to SveinR before the deadline. Note that your votes won't be verified until after the deadline, so if you send your key a week in advance you can still change your votes later.
The votes have to be given in ranked order, from 1st to 5th. Each 1st position will give 5 points, each 2nd position will give 4 points, etc. The jury will assemble these points when the voting process has ended. You can only vote and send a PM once. Do not make your votes public in this thread.
Remember that you don't have to vote in each and every category, but in the categories you do vote in, you have to pick your top 5. Your vote won't count otherwise.

Voting for the Community Award: You will list up to 3 people, in ranked order from 1st to 3rd. Each 1st position will give 5 points, each 2nd position will give 3 points and each 3rd position will give 1 point. Send your votes in this category in the same PM as your other votes, or submit them in the online voting site. You do not have to vote in this category. I would strongly encourage people to write a few words about the people you vote for (if you have something specific to mention), because when we present the winner of this category, we'll include your reasons behind voting for him in some sort of speech. This speech will be based on what you've written.

Changes to the voting process: We have decided to let the community have more power if the voter turnout in any category is high enough. This number has been set to 30 voters or more. If that number is reached, the jury members vote just as the community does, otherwise we follow the usual system.

In all categories: Only base your votes on what has happened in the GAA period.
Site: Vote for the sites that have improved the most and increased their relevance the most over the GAA period.
