discussing the multidimensional aspects of elma

Post by ribot »

Elma is called a 2d game because of having a 2d perspective. Let's suppose however a world in which the possibilities of elma could exist. I don't think a 4d spacetime continuum would be enough.

There is an advanced mathematical model required for this. Here is a table of contents of the questionable phenomena:
- space-turn
- volts
- hangs
- flagtag
- bounces
- gravity shifts

3D - spaceturning
Why do you think Balazs used space-bar for turning? Because it requires the third dimension for elmaguy to turn in. You can see how he jumps in the third dimension. There is something however that makes it possible for elma guy to jump off the wheels, and still keep the physics of the bike intact. Would this be possible in 3d space?

volts
The volts have the property to accelerate without any solid object to gain speed from. I don't know if this could be possible for an astral body to achieve, but an astral body has gravity of its own. Elma bike can shift gravity, so maybe it used some unknown force like this?

hangs
If you think about it, a single bike hang system would be possible in 3d. Suppose a crane is lifting up to parallel bars which the wheel can go inside, then the situation would be like in the came (that the bike can't jump off to the sides). Although this would be possible, how do you suppose 20 bike riders would be able to catch the flag from each other if there were 20 parallel bars?

flagtag
Flagtag on ground already has the problem described above, and combined with hangs the problem would become very knotty.

bounces
Bounces may have some nuclear explosion going on inside the bike. Maybe this is still valid in 3d space.

gravity shifts
Gravity is something even physicians can't explain, but what about elma guy? Actually yogis and shamans could easily explain this phenomena. Elma guy can somewhat control gravity, and how much more complicated would those calculations be in comparison with the gravity we already have?

So I'm waiting for mathematical formulas guys.

The extra dimension in 3d is just 3rd coordinate needed to specify any point within the space. It doesn't mean the extra dimension has to be depth.

imo in flagtag all bikes already have a flag in a hatch or something and it pops up and retracts when flag holder change
