FEM14 payment topic

Post by nick-o-matic »

Since there were no other willing mans for the fun role of the money representative guy, and nobody still has protested the cabin and date choises, I now reserved the Sastamala cabin with the date 15.-25.8.!

Nobody has had any objections against the suggested price range either. So if you are fairly sure about coming to FEM14, please start paying to me according to this chart:

Code: Select all

0 nights: 10€
1 18€
2 25€ (weekend)
3 30€
4 35€
5 45€
6 50€
7 55€
8-10 60€
You can pay to me in your internet bank, here my bank account number etc:

Johannes Nokelainen
FI7841082320014714
HELSFIHH (BIC-code for international transfers)
Kopparinkatu 5 A4, 40520 Jyväskylä (address for international transfers)

If you will not come after all even though you have paid, I will pay it back. And similarly, if you stay different amount of nights than according to which you have paid, we can adjust it afterwards. There hopefully will be a bit more money paid than the expenses are so that these adjustments can be made and we also can buy things like food for all to enjoy, and perhaps even prices for some possible contests!

I think the price range can be adjusted a bit with common sense depending on the specific situations. For example if you can only stay for like one hour, you don't have to pay 10€ I believe. And if you for example arrive late at Friday evening and leave early at Monday morning, it maybe counts as 2 days instead of 3. Or maybe 2.5 days. We can discuss these later. Now the important thing is that you will pay approximately the right amount. And also please put to the message box in the internet bank who you are, or inform me in some other way if you have paid.

Btw post #600.

Would be preferable if you paid at least something (like for 5 days if you expect you could stay 5-8 days). I think we might increase the prices soon to encourage people to pay earlier since concretely getting the actual money is different to just promises and talk and thus makes it easier and safer to estimate what we can afford in addition to the basic cottage price (end cleaning and extra sleeping space most importantly). If you end up paying too much, I will make it up for you.

Paid 25e for Fri-Sun. Not sure how hectic it will be at work, there is a lot going on around September so will have to negotiate if ok to stay for a bit longer.

Okay, there's some money left over. Do I give it to EOL server or save for possible next year FEM?

About possible next year FEM:
It's possible to have the FEM next year at the same place and with cheaper price (poss to rent straight from owner instead of via Lomarengas company, also poss to decide a fixed price for which unlimited amount of ppl can come). This is because the owner was really happy how things went and how her precius farm cabin still existed - she had been afraid we are some youngster hooligan gang because she had been reading stuff about horror tenants from Finnish tabloids. When I had been talking with her she had been really strict about money issues and about the 10€/(extra person)/night cost for people over the official maximum limit but she didn't even think of it even though she said she had seen we had quite many people there when she had been wrooming with combine harvester in the grain fields and we went outside to take a group picture (some 14 mans at total outside at that time). Paid her 20€ extra for extra mans anyway even though the real number would have been much higher according to the 10€/(extra person)/night cost. She didn't even mind that there was much cleaning undone when she came to check it, and she just put us to clean one more hour (and arrange furniture for some big event to get more table space for eating).

So would we get even more attendance next year? Who would come? Please also say if you do not come. That's important info too.

Or maybe she hasn't received the electricity bill yet:D

We actually had a wood sauna but also electric sauna inside, was on almost every day (and one day some man left it on for 8 hours).
Also very many computers on 24/10 and veezay's full untz untz gear plugged in too.

Maybe give for EOL if it looks like the deadline for payment is close and no funds available, otherwise save for next fem?

I hope to join for longer period next year.

Here's the final attendance list. I thought it might be worth updating the first post, as it's probably the best reference for attendance for those interested in the future (certainly better than a spreadsheet on my hard drive). The list below is as complete as could be (used this thread, group pics, and asked attendees).
