I'm traveling back home now, once again the time went by so fast, could have easily stayed for longer. My beer battle success was sabotaged by the levels this time, but next year I will try to be more prepared! Thanks everyone, it was really great to see so many mans coming outside of Finland, very appreciated that you make the effort to travel here. See you next year, and jblaze, you're amazink!

It was amazing! Everything from the first crowded weekend with sick legends playing (Zweq, Markku, Zero, adi etc. in one room) to more relaxed mon-tue with nice activities like femhunt (thanks to Markku, lousku, VilleJ for organizing). Really cool to see many new faces from abroad (BLUDEK, Mira, jblaze, Mats, Polarix) so can easily be named IEM imo. The atmosphere was so relaxed and social that on one or two days I rarely sat in front of my computer, instead went femhunting or just talked and beared.
I also think the screening of the film project was quite appreciated and gave me good motivation to continue with it. Thanks to everyone who asked important questions and gave feedback.

Max respect and eternal thanks to nick-o-matic for organizing it. You da real MVP.

Also got almost 60€ in donations for the dinner, thanks all!

See you next year!

Thanks all, this was awesome! Honestly FEM is getting better and more fun every year. It's just sach nice atmosphere, very relaxed, everyone is cooperative in mayking it a nice week, and we still haven't had those fights TL warned us about years ago!

Special thankses to mans from abroad for mayking long trip to give us nice company. Hope it was worth it and hope you and others will travel to future FEMs too. =)

Of course thanks to nom for great organizing and leadership. Handling cabinlady and the renting process, cleaning, rides etc etc... I wish I could help moar.

FEM Hunt turned out to be mostly too hard and only half of the goals were reached. Winner was insane guy with 3/6 goals reached - congrats! I will post solutions to all the riddles in a few days when I get home (staying in Vammala for now). Anyway thanks to Markku and ville_j for organizing it with me and thanks to everyone who putteded effort into solving it. That made it worth organizing, even though half the goals were too hard.

Also, cabinlady now knows the name of Elasto Mania, and also, Mats is hilarious.

See youmans next year =)

This was a max cool experience and recommend everyone to go to FEM. Thanks a lot to nico for creating this and all you guys who showed up. Make sure u write report zweq cause some stuff are quite blurry, specially in beer battle.

Thanks to Abula for finding me and pola lost in vammala. Thanks to Ville for epic live music. Thanks to insaneguy for epic meal. Special thanks to Lousku for making special routes. Well basicly thanks to everyone for making this a fun experience. Hope you enjoy the random avocados adi.
Sorry for forgetting to say bye to the leftovers, which was because me and Ville were pretty much stuffed with the luggage in Nicomatics car and we were in bit of a hurry.

Would love to come next year aswell but it's like to soon to tell for sure. I should probably sleep now but it's like strange and quiet to sleep not hearing Ville snoring.

Mega ty all! Particular thanks for terb0 for arranging the beer battle in so great way, for insaneguy for the dinner, for Lousku, ville_j and Markku for the FEM hunt, for terb0 and Tisk for FEM quiz prizes, for foreign mans coming from so far away and for Mats and Polarix for waking up at 7AM at last day to be able to do their share of the cleaning before they had to leave at 10AM! Hope to see you all again next year! It was awesome to get to know all of you better, especially this obviously applies to the ones that I hadn't met before (jblaze, Mats, Polarix, Bludek, Mira and Zweq).

Here's this year's femquiz: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b6bqqzabd0tid ... 6.pdf?dl=0 As previously, I hope to see some people to afterbattle it - answer sheet will be released soon at least if there's interest. And the official FEM results (they lack veezay and Kortsu results atm though):

Code:
1.  Markku     40.25
2.  Zweq       38.75
3.  adi        35.75
4.  Lousku     34.5
5.  jblaze     34
6.  roope      32.25
7.  Orcc       30.25
8.  Bludek     28.5
9.  Tisk       27
9.  Zero       27
11. Polarix    25.25
12. Mats       25
12. ville_j    25
14. Smibu      22
15. axxu       21.75
16. Ismo       21
17. Abula      19.5
18. insane guy 16.5
19. Mira       15.25
20. Koo        14.75
21. terb0      12.25

Threw 2/3 of the 2014 towels and the pillow cover to trash (they weren't very good), and kept the best towel for me, but if the correct owner is found, he obvofcoursely still can have it (it's black). =)

Well I haven't got an idea when I will receive the remaining pics, so I'll upload what I have now on Sunday, and update the collection later if and when more pics arrive.

Also, I have exactly 2 hours of uncut video material from FEM (including our trip w/ Mira to Riga and Helsinki). Will do smth with it some day.
btw how tf is poss having EXACTLY 2 hours of video (not a single second more or less). Impsy coincidence.

Pics are up!

Again, comments and possible captions are on the right side when looking at individual pics, and you can download each folder at the very bottom right when you're in folder view.

i so wish i could have been there for more days but oh well. either it was me employed, getting the money and not being able to attend but those few days, or being unemployed and not having any money to attend at all, so, was definitely fun again while it lasted. also definitely thanks to Antti for taking a leap of faith and coming along with his car that made attending possible for me/us at all.

obv thanks again to nick-o-matic for organizing it all again in teh first place and handling all teh moneys et cetera (we really tried finishing the fem quiz in time but then stuff happened, and, oh well ;D). also thanks to insane guy for making the food for everyone. that kinda saved me during the last day i was there, i was an dumb and lazy person and didn't really have any food with me. i might have thought that i can always go buy food if i need during that few days but that never happened, so...

as my elmaing chances with my shit laggy laptop were close to zero, i tried to concentrate more on the social side of things, which i think was nice, because there were many mans that i hadn't met before and even then i felt like i was missing so much stuff. computer was obviously needed anyway for beisik stuff like irc, and i think we utilized it for some timer stuff connected to the video projector, so.. not completely useless.

interview with insane guy was fun (and also met him for the first time, very nice guy). seeing the work in progress project afterwards, i seem to have been nervous and/or drunk (definitely drunk though) since i have that dumb grin on my face the whole time. it kinda looks almost as if i was excited about what i was talking about. i think somebody suggested interviewing two people at once in the lauta thread for the project, and i immediately thought about me and Ville J being interviewed like that. could be fun.

Bludek seemed to enjoy some of the more, dare i say, classy music i played, which was delightfully surprising. also i managed to interfere Ville J battle playing with some dirty loops, so that was also a fun surprise. also conversed a bit about music software with Bludek and Ville J (and Polarix? i'm really bad at names, sorry), woulda enjoyed more this sort of convo but then something else always came up and i "didn't" have "sensible" chance to initiate sach convo again. had some nice late night/morn convos with Koo (also i think it was Koo who appeared from nowhere one night commenting my random keyboard improvisation with "i thought that was a real song", so that was nice, thanks).

obviously a lot of time was spent with Ville J since our computers were set up on/at/within the same table (..and we have the obvious alliance where everything just seems to come together). was fun times musicing and having basic dumbo shit drunk convos with him, as always. i was wondering about bringing the full dj setup with me but in the end i didn't and i think it was a good choice, since the table space was scarce as it was, and i wouldn't have utilized the setup to the fullest either way, i guess. it was more fun keyboarding with Ville J anyway.

we browsed some google maps with Mats (cutesy boi) and Ville J (less so with his hair..) and we ended up searching for dumbo place names around the world for what felt like a good hour at least, and then i had to give up and go sleep a few hours before i had to get up and drive me, Antti and insane guy out of there, yay. was a bit exciting if we wuda made it in time for insane guy to catch his bus, but apparently he did, so all was/is well.

had a slight chat with Smibu while he was making some level in the morning, also some quick ddraw.dll gakking concerning my shitty laptop gpu, and browser elma stuff. wish i could have spent more time with him. WHY DIDN'T I, I HAD ALL THE CHOICES -brain

unfortunately i didn't bring my straitjacket for roope to try on (since i wasn't sure if roope would be there, explanation sexshplanation) but at least he got to try my fire helmet and handcuffs, so there's that. saunaings were also of course fun, and the water in the pond was of course cold. quite vague memories of all saunaing, but at least CABIN LADY.

Markku and insane guy managed to take some nice photon-based memories of me, was nice. the pictures of fem2016 that were taken when i wasn't there seem like i definitely would've liked to be there more of the time. maybe next year.

ty all.

i feel like confessing it:
im not an emotional person, most of my emotions are neutralized and i try to cut most of emotional connections towards most of things in life. however, this stupid childlish game holds a warm place in my mind. when i was leaving the house and shaking hands with everybody, my voice went shaky. mira (at least i thought so at the very time) was the last guy that i shook hand with (except nom, who drove me to station). as i held miras hand my eyes went a bit wet, as if i was about to cry. i dont know if mira noticed it, but i was really touched by the thought of leaving that place, those people, those memories, that country, the whole elastical journey. it was more emotional moment than moving out of my gf or the day we broke up. i almost cried a little.

wanted to share how much this community means to me, barely anything comes as close...

ty for sharing =) dunno if I'd go that emotional, but I think about FEM really often nowadays, really looking forward to it :)

I think one of my most emotional moments in the game was when I "rejoined" the scene some 2y ago after some hiatus and saw posts on lauta asking where I was... Felt so good to be back ^^ I think I wrote a couple of emotional posts back then :)

Reading this, I fairly reminded my feelings and I gladly join this little confession and yes, I remember you were a bit touched :) In that time of goodbyeing each other I was still filled with very positive impressions gained throughout the meeting. In addition, I travelled with Bludek in both directions and the journey itself was great! Therefore, it hit me just when I got back in home in a very similar way as jblaze said...just with this delay. I would even call it little depression during some several days afterfem for me (wow, maybe even few weeks?!). Was just too intense to share one common interest in such a beautiful place...Now, let me call it here: Beware of afterfem syndrome
