Editor lock?

In the Warcraft III community there exists a practice of "editor locking" levels. You can add some garbage info to the file that will make it impossible to open with a level editor, but the level will still load fine in the game. That way level designers can prevent people from looking into the scripts to figure out how the level works and stuff like that. Would it be possible to do something similar with elma levels? Could be useful in quiz levs, for example (no cheating by looking which apples change gravity).

Wasn't this feature already theer in some version? Anyway theer's always a way around it so I think it's pointless, much like any DRM.
then again i don't know anything
maybe easier not to think abouut alöl things thought than not things thought ... or something..=?

There is in vanilla elma yeah, but easy to edit manually even if unofficial patches didn't add the option to circumvent it as they do now.

Would need to do some kind of encryption I guess, where the decrypted level data is only sent as you play it, with decryption key being on the server. Could still probably intercept that, but at least would be much more difficult. Probably not worth it to make such system for those few cases where we'd need it.

Forget about the white poly.. :/ only works with a specific resolution. You get pink with most of the other settings.

Probably possible but each level editor probably reads file in slightly different way so difficult to consistently block all level editors.

Also dunno if in-game editor reads same way as in-game level loading
