BUUUU ATTENTION!
the owner of the house called us today saying he is going to holiday and is not able to host us at this date... sitution got complicated.

we will either:
- somehow convince him and organise external house&key caring service
- find some new place (hardcore choices again...)
- change the date (which is unlikely due to unnecesary confusion + e.g. morgan has already booked his flights)

we will keep you updated. sorry, but this was unexpected. incidental contingency that can happen anywhere anytime :s

Did you already agree and confirm that the date was set? Cause that is real assholeish behaviour to be honest.

I agree with the forementioned statement.
I, myself & Hosp has agreed to make some Beer Battle levels, so be prepared for a drunk-fest my fellow poles.
Hopefully the PEM will go as smoothly as possible, and I'm sure it will, with jblaze's help. ;)

hello Elma
I'd just like to ask people from "uncertain" list... Are ya coming or not? Time to decide, around 3 weeks left!
I just cannot wait. Great idea, great people and great organisation :) Thanks everyone who helped PEM 2018 happen.
I'm not recently in EOL/Elma world active, but I thought it would be very cool to see all those faces which I know from virtual world in reality...
So come on, anyone else coming? :)

little delay but we have a house now. is confirmed. if we dont get kicked out by accidental events like last time we are set ;]

compared to previous one: its cheaper, its also luxury as fuck and also 200m^2. no garden here. it has theoretical capacity of 10 people (not 16 like before). but it doesnt seem like a problem :p ez sneak some if needed, theres space for like 50 people

also updated list of participants. koparka moved up to confirmed list. miras chances grew to 93%, unluckily bludek changed to super low. bene out of list :(

we will have some cool trademark prepared for PEM ;] wont tell more now. you will find out on 7th december

only ONE DAY to begin. we are extremely happy that we are so close.

unluckily pascal and koparka are unlikely to come due to personal issues. but there are chances. idealistic scenario is impossible to happen usually, well. we will have a nice meeting with the opportunities that we will be given

there will be polish elma national championships on saturday and sunday (2 parts), quite a big thing! theres never been national elma master cup as far as i know.

some initial schedule we made:

indeed it is pretty tight. although some of the tournaments will definitely take less time than the paper claims. im not for making it so tight too, but this is what we got. we'll ofc discuss stuff irl and things may get changed and verified.

the meeting has ended. i want to say a few words about it.

it was an amazing weekend. each of us was a puzzle that made the picture absolutely fascinating, it was an elma heaven. it was so fun in every fucking aspect. all the talks, all the laughs, all the rages made me so absolutely happy being there. thanks to EVERY SINGLE ONE of you for being great part of it. words cant express it.

i was afraid that we may not fit every planned tournament as i knew the schedule was too tense, but in the end we made it all with just a bongo cup skipped. there was just a bit too little time to socialize and do casual talk and elming, but it was all great anyways. so the organisation went way smoother than i expected. people were ready to play and make the levels when something was going on and there were no unexpected postpones.

some special thanks go to:
- Mira for representing elma world from abroad. really happy that you decided to break the national barriers and visit us! was so great to meet your lovely and calm self again!
- Stooq for organising the place, finances, event stuff. but most significantly: the EOLCUP.PRO tool! despite little bugs it made all tournaments go smooth with instant standings (especially with the amount of cups we had). invaluable work! it would take us a lot more work to count it all manually. also proved once again that hes a really fun and smart guy ;]
- Codeq for making a project and ordering the shirts which was a really practical and climatic addition to the meeting and a souvenir for the future
- pawq for tremendous passion, determination and sacrifice to overcome his physical disadvantages. not everyone would (most wouldnt) be able to take the risk and skip rehabilitation so soon after leg surgery and come across the country to the elma meeting. i hope it was worth it :<}
- Kopaka with pawq for seting up the private server which made some events go smoother and safer than they could have on public one
- danitah for huge dedication with levels for Couples Contests and Onion cups! the levels were done with big dedication even though i pushed hard on not trying too hard so he doesnt feel used. and the polish accents sneaked into levs :] great levels and live starting, spying and commenting :cat:
- and all the rest also. you all deserve extra mention too for just coming :D

and sorry for all aborts we had to do, im sure such a great event that connects the community desrves some advantages :D

Had an amazing time =) A completely different experience to FEM, in all sorts of ways. The FEM cabin in the middle of the forest in the summer has an amazing atmosphere, and a "bare" apartment in the middle of a winter city wasn't as climatic for me. And obviously only a third as many people as at FEM, so much more intimate. Not better or worse, just different :) But it was amazing to finally meet some polish kuskis (and so many of them!), having met none at the previous 2 FEMs. And Mira of course! :D It was a different level of fun with all the raging, random kurwas, and much, much more innovative swearing :D I feel a bit bad for Mira that we spoke polish so much, but it was just impossible to resist :(

PEM was literally full of amazing contests, some organised by particular people, some by all of us, and they were all impsy fun. Group cup, couples contest, onion cup, polish elma championship, bullet cup, alco cup, pajpos cup, flatos cup, two quizes, 1h tt... all in 2 days and an evening :D Sorry for occasional aborts, it was kinda necessary, but we did some cups on the FEM server to reduce the burden on the main one.

Some thanks are in order from me too I guess... :)

- First of all, to Stooq, who not only arranged a big chunk of the event (accommodation, which was not ez!), but also coded the eolcup.pro tool, which was amazingly useful all throughout PEM. Kudos m8!
- Codeq, for designing and sorting out a batch of fantastic t-shirts, which not only made PEM even more special, but will also make for great souvenirs :)
- Mielz, for keeping me company during long train journeys, explaining a lot of cubing stuff and showing off for good measure, and above all for being an amazing couples contest partner!!! (and group cup leader :p) And for a short but very fun quiz ;)
- dani!!!, who despite not being present, contributed to PEM perhaps more than anyone else, by providing all levels for both Couples Contest and Onion Cup!!! Anyone who hasn't seen the levels, seriously, go check them out (PE18coXX & OnCu01XX), they're some of the best levels I've played (both visually and gameplay-wise). The creativity of the guy is something I cannot comprehend :)
- berh, for sorting out group train tickets, taking care of shopping and some other smol organisational things, and for his speech (more on that later)
- Mira, for coming a long way despite joining elmans in Poland by himself for the first time :) Great to finally meet my WCup nemesis!
- jbl, for being one of the most amazing dudes I've met, and for making the most entertaining elma quiz I've participated in so far! (more than teh FEM ones as it wasn't as impsy :P)
- chris, for being chris <3333
- bEAT, for being the PEM equivalent of Ramone :D)
- And finally, Fejm, Kulisty and Morgan, for being great competitors and fun buddies!!!

To finish off, one of my favourite things about teh PEM was that everyone participated at everything. Everyone made a championship lev, everyone made a bullet cup lev, everyone contributed to quickly making levs for other contests, and for the most part everyone participated in all contests :) Thanks for the fantastic enthusiasm PEMmers! :))))))

Oh, and the train cup... =DDDDDDD On the way back from PEM, berh+jbl+Mielz+Stooq+my sat on a train, all within like 3 rows, and decided to do what? A Train Cup, full of train levs =D So we all took our laptops out, plugged in, all made levels, and started them on EOL, battling for about 2h :D There were a lot of elma conversations that half the coach must've heard, and it was impsy fun  Including the time when I gakked some sik ride and shouted KURRRR... and in that instant realised I'm on a train and covered my mouth with my hands  Thanks guys, I'll remember this for a long time :D

Some days have already passed after the PEM, and i feel like writing something about it :) I'm really happy the plans have turned out true, great we managed to gather in one place for the meeting. The atmosphere was really cool, it seemed like everyone was having a lot of fun during these days, and so did I! :) Every single of you all deserve your special thanks!

- Stooq, the leader of the organisation group for most cases, for finding and booking a really nice accomodation, planning out like everything on the way, and that amazing contests tool, great time-saver for many events, really esthetic and practical stuff! Dame, I knew I'd forget to mention someone. Some contests couldn't have happened at all, and some not as smoothly, without Kopaka's help (setting up and troubleshooting) with the private server. Thanks again bro! :)

Btw some little mistakes in jblaze's quiz answer sheet :) like, 11,5p max for 1.1+1.2 instead of 13 (the table was for 5 levs only in PL version), 2.3 and 2.4 at least I knew too, ChainPie finishers too. For some text questions i dumbed hard by either misreading or misusing brain)

Before PEM, when I knew jblaze made a quiz for us, in the evening before I decided to make my own last-minute one so jblaze can test himself as well, and there were 2 quizes for all other mans! I kept it short and simple because 1. I had too little time 2. mine was a secondary quiz only, I could definitely put more effort for some examples and questions, but it wasn't that bad imo :)

jblaze won with 37,5/46 points, however he had some significant advantage in quotes question(these could be better), but his lead was big enough he would win without that question also. Non-PEM mans, go and try it out for yourself!

Thanks everybody involved for the great meeting. The over 2 months long preparations were also very pleasant and enjoyable. We were using just a fb chat with all kuskis (sometimes hard to scroll if somebody was away for some days) and a spreadsheet to broadcast ideas in more official manner. For me it's impsy to point out any ultraspecific highlights, because the meeting was very dense and extremely enjoyable, every single event was incredibly nice and the atmosphere around was just unbelievably friendly, so it was like you would swim in warm clouds.

Thanks to:

Stooq - taking care of accomodation (also having had to deposit a large amount of money out of his pocket), buying the domain and preparing the EOL CUP PRO tool which turns out to be a real monster which allows making cups with an incredible ease. If only the scene were more active, the tool would gain much more attention and recognition. always active during the pre-meeting, impsy to mention all his contributions
morgan - for being a morgan, always ready to drink more. also learnt that morgan is a h3 player, too bad that Jebus template mostly. cubes quite okay, too
Fejm - coming quite a long way and showing some good skill despite small lappy. nice guy
chris - always smiling, thanks for cool levels. he came regardless he had his parents' anniversary that weekend
Codeq - incredible manik. didn't know him before, but as soon as he got to know that meeting is going to happen he erupted with a lot of ideas and perfect sense of humour and managed to sort out the shirts. took care of editing the aftermovie. we didn't have time to play mario or mario kart, maybe another time. always present in the green area
Kulisty - Kulek, also previously known as badyl taught me a good lesson in chess. he was ready to play whether in the middle of the night or just after waking up. lovely attitude and playing strength. Kulisty won 4-0 even though I tried very hard. cool guy, also was multicoupled with him and even though I sucked, we did some satisfying times
Mielz - always very nice, easy-going, objective, down-to-earth, nice to talk to. thx for the quiz and rubik show-off! he impressed with the chess skills which were higher than I expected. I won, but was lucky and some of the games were very close
DANI[TAH]DANITAHDANITAHDANITAHDANITAHDANUTADANI[TAH]DANUTADANITAHDANITAHDANI[TAH] - thank you DANI!!! whenever we had some problems with levels you were always there to help, preparing outstanding multi levels and the ONION CUP!!! That was very nice, I was the one who pushed for it as it used all of the EOL options. Wanted to have something somewhat extraordinary like the Banana Cup. The levels were (with some very minor remarks like survivor :P) very well made and gave a fucking lot of laughs and pleasure as nobody knew what to expect. Also the 'menu' in levels was a very good idea to see what's coming next. We are preparing a special gift for you and you are already a licensed PEM ambassador.
bEAT - dweller of the green room. very energetic, always positive and refeulled. found time and power to dance with the girls in the club and go sightseeing the city with his gf, yet was everfresh
Mira - hey Mira. thanks for coming. very nice and gentle guy with a lot of skill. also showed a glimpse of parkour skills. max that you also enjoyed some clubbing. you will be a good example for foreigners that they should have no fear before future PEMs whatsoever
pawq - many people know pawq already as he's attended 2 FEMs now. very kind and reasonable guy with a lot of respect to everything and anyone. one of the main brainstormers and knowledgesharers. very nice to talk to. despite a leg in pain never lazy to get up and cripple-walk to someone else's hoyl station
jblaze oke oke. this guy is a legend already. designed beautiful diplomas, prepared a very sophisticated and enjoyable, demanding quiz. provided a laptop for Mielz. massive knowledge about people in the scene and the scene itself. one of the main brainstormers and again impsy to mention everything. the man that understands things you are afraid to talk about with other guys as they may laugh you off out of their incomprehension. always crying out of laughter when he remembers some random jokes i said even several years from the past. on a personal note thanks for sharing your bed 2 times during the prePEM week when once I rushed to toilet which wasn't locked and overlooked your mom completely naked
Kopaka hi Kopaka, thanks for being always there to solve problems and provide additional options like a private server if necessary
<Pawq> at a gym you have only 3 options: 1. have your eyes closed, 2. stare at yourself, 3. stare at others, all of which are either super boring or disgusting
