Just wanted to add that I would've written exactly the same thing as Grace, to the word. But we'll discuss this again of course :)

Time for a little update!

Originally we were planning and hoping to be able to start the voting phase tomorrow. However, thanks to the whopping total of 503 candidates that we considered this year, each of them looked at individually, two weeks proved insufficient to select the nominees. Despite dozens of man-hours already spent, a few categories are still being analysed and discussed. Don't fret, however, as things are undoubtedly moving forward!

The current plan is to start the voting phase within the next week. When we do, we'll make sure you hear about it!

Let me also take this opportunity to thank everyone for their suggestions. Thanks to your effort, every category is full of cutting-edge achievements, and I can assure you that the voting process, as well as the final gala, will be as exciting as ever!

Be patient

Internalist: John
(Zweq best but 34)

Externalist: Nekit
(Nekit might very well be the best handler of kuski + mopo. I have spied many top pros but Nikita is programming his mind at rapid speed for extremely precise moves)

GAA19:
Comeback: Ramone
(I am concidering to bring back old, old pc my friend helped me bring to life night before Fem. But if decide need massive refurninshing and/or new furniture cause changed every room (several times) in 2018. I saw Dani chesslev is done(?), someone suggested it, have I played it? Youtube link would be appreciated.)

Special thanks to nom for making me think of Elma again... Maybe it will pass

GAA 2018 - Public voting is open!

You can vote at http://gaa.elmaonline.net/vote/

To vote, drag your top 5 favourites in order into the voting slots on the voting page. You don't have to vote in every category, but if you do vote in some category, you must pick a full top 5. The point is: choose top 5 or nothing. Remember, only take into consideration what happened in the GAA period (the year 2018)! After voting, the website will give you a key, which you should send to pawq in one of the following ways:

1. Via Mopolauta with a private message. Note: in this case your Mopolauta account has to be registered before the start of the first step!
2. To pawq in the Elma Discord server (@pawq#0659).
3. Via the Elma Online site, with a private comment on pawq's profile.

The nominees are updated in the first post of this topic, and are of course shown on the voting site.

Enjoy the voting process!

The deadline for sending your votes is Thursday, 21st February, 23:59 EET (GMT+2), and the final show will be held on Saturday, 23rd February, 20:00. See you there!

Congratulations to all the winners!

I feel a bit sad that Abula didn't get a GAA after spending hundreds of hours with the writing and researching for for his article.

The previous record for most GAA wins in a single year was 5, jointly held by Zweq (2007, 2012) and Zero (2015). danitah raised the bar by a fair amount
