It took us 10 mins to finish that goddamn level.

The software is very basic, there are much things that can be polished. But already I feel it's needed to see that milagros did a swell job here! :)

It isn't working with all the guyz. Btw good work mila (and hib), though max lag on wan, and it would be essential to make fullscreen playin possible (own moto for each player).

You can press on 1 or 2 and then you'll be seeing player A or B in fullscreen. That's with normal multi. It should work here too.

Nice work yes.

When I play on my desktop and laptop (WAN) it goes to "You failed to finish" screen after 3-15sec without me dying. Saw some other talking about this in #across too.

Obviously you didn't try it then. It changes on both comps, so you both will see the same :)

some possible features in elma online -
1. should that switching of the players behave same on both comps? or if one player switches, the other still sees whole screen?
2. elmaconf - quite ez today
3. should computers connect right after starting elma and disconnect after you quit elma or connect every run? because i guess it takes a while but if you choose different level or connection fucks up, you need to restart whole elma not only lev..
4. some other features you need?

No it's not a bandwidth issue, I don't think elma online packets are that big. :) Besides the patch itself it depends on the internet service providers lines and hardware on the path to the internet. If their cables are overlenght or network devices handle packets slowly, response time goes up and it causes lagging.

Ok now i know "kinda" why it doesn't work for many people.

If you have router then it might be a problem to connect to other players.
Playing router to router doesn't normally work.. but playing router to "not router" or opposite works... none to none works also.

The problem with the router is that the port might not be open or something... so when playing router to router no one can be master, so it doesn't work.... that's why u need to do Port Forward.
If you don't know how to do teh... then google some help for your router.

Something like this..... don't really know how to eksplane... but think this is the main problem.

Yep, that's the exact problem. When you have a router, port 999 is closed. You'll need to map the port first before you can use it.
I guess Port Forward helps, I myself just used telnet to connect to my router and did some search and figured it out.
But now I can be slave/master.
