That sounds really awesome mila, when will be next release?

I got another idea: Maybe change the connect button to a connect/deconect button, so u don t need to end elma and change cfg when u want to try some internal without the internet delay.

due to berh's problems (too small cock) quite big range of ips is blocked till new version comes (1-2 weeks)
most of the nicks that used to connect from those ips i haven't ever heard of, but some of them i did... sorry, wait for next version

Nice add-ons coming up yey.

Zebra's last list 4. and 5. sounds useful.

A newbie friendly suggestion:

Useful keys in-game are on increase. One more key, that would print out all your key settings could be of help for new players, and for those who uses belma only randomly and keeps forgetting their key settings.

not really, only polish nabs with ip within banned range will blame him
server/client was being rewritten with or without berh (and almost done)

you know, files are uploaded to ftp from the client so client knows the password (ez to check if you put breakpoint when PASS is sent to ftp)
it was never supposed to be secure (and cant be done secure this way), it was just quick way to solve problems with uploading/downloading files without using server prog
berh just deleted, updated, modified, .. rec/lev files at ftp
anyone can do teh easily, it's just lame

next version was not supposed to use ftp anymore (check update lists)

damn berh is taking our freedoms for granted and cause there to be less freedoms in this elma world. Possibly a terrorist?

berhorrist.

The kind that likes to ruin it for the majority, a common thing throughout history of man. On the other hand we have people like milegros to juxtapose those assholes.

This reminds me of the 20e donation I was gonna do, my father said he was going to help me with it (I don't have a credit card), but that's been a while. It will come, skint, just not that soon, but within a month I assume.

the weird part is to ruin fun of 30-40 people. Why not try to fuck up WoW servers or something instead, that'd be fun and leave the cute elma scene alone

next version should be done after i find some 5 hours to finish teh
updated lists : (some items removed, i didnt like teh idea)

things already done for next version:
1. whole server code rewritten from the scratch to nice one:)
2. remove possibility to start qwquu levs
3. position in balle in status text
4. private chat ingame
5. 'hide times' checkbox for startballe
6. add flag for starting balles for users which will be default off for new registered users
7. fps limiter
8. do non-case sensitive bmps, levs, nicks
9. show all in the f5 table also hidden, but wihtout lev name
10. hide tables when got disconnected, otherwise it will stay there forever
11. fix bug with clearing top10
12. fix bug with finishing and dying to killer at the same moment
13. increase size of rec file to 60 mins
14. observing list of kuskis in alphabetical order

things that are planned for the almost finished next version :
1. rewrite client code to nice one - almost done
2. new file protocol
3. save setup to file (others hidden, others can see me, ..)
4. link to lev/rec in irc

things planned for some future version :
1. add bugtimes accepted checkbox in startballe
2. cooperative multiplaying
3. apple collecting balle - wont be possible to see rec
4. see time of last apple taken - for uberhoylas
5. flagtag battle
6. LEV generator (for only moderators)
7. if you type chat or observe, not die until you stop observing/typing
8. do non-us keyboard conversion
9. 24htt setupable for only one kuski so others can play normal balle
10. merging >2 replays
11.spying without playing

I'm just asking, if you are observing a kuski when he dies, why he seems to turn his bike every time?
I noticed this in no-turn battle, and it was kinda amusing.

When you have just died/finished, and you are in the level menu, it would be cool if there were an option "Merge replay to xxx". It would merge the just driven replay to any other replay without the annoying need to first save and then merge it.

i checked that apples/polygons size and it turned out that there isnt any even semihard way to enlarge teh
the reason why is that the lev structure in the memory looks like {blabla1, polygons[300], blabla2, object[52], blabla3 } and if i want to enlarge polygons, i would have to move all pointers in teh code to blabla2, objects and blabla2 and all structures in lev after that, that would take like zillion years to replace, impsy not to miss any

checked what everything would have to be moved and its a lot:/
there's list of polygons, list of objects, list of pictures, levname, foreground, background, lgr and both single/multi table
so everything would have to be moved:/

I would like a key or better a shortcut like strg - q which quits elma directly. Or maybe you see the "do you want to quit yes/no" dialog.
Maybe kinda useless but sometimes it sucks to press escape 3-4 times with that little waitingtime between each press.

Try this:

http://up.k10x.net/snnmqylvhfvnv/quit.lev
http://up.k10x.net/dymtntkvcghag/quit.rec

(empty files, causing external error, quitting elma kinda quick)
