something funny with site these days, got these big gaps in text everywhere. If I look in players it shows a couple, then some empty lines down before next names appear, and some appear on opposite side of screen

Last time I wrote here it was very effective so I will just do that when we're running low. Payment day today and there's not enough in the eol paypal account to pay.

Also if you absolutely must and don't know anyone with a visa card you can ask me about bank account number and we can send it through my account. Some people have asked about it, but since it requires more work, please try to find another solution and only use if you wan't to donate a significant amount.

I wanted to donate, but I do something wrong as my Visa can't be accepted. :(

One question, why my layout works differently on different computers.

I changed it few days ago at work and on my work computer it looks like this:
Image

On the other hand at home it looks like I didn't change anything. What is going on :?:

ps
I haven't looked how does the settings page look at home, but I guess if I save something on the page it should look the same everywhere. I tried ctrl+f5 at home and still got old layout.

Depends on what browser you use, they read pages differently.
If elmaonline.net was perfectly coded and followed WC3 standards or watefak they are called it should look the same on most browsers.

WC3 can suck it, and has nothing to do with this anyway. chris try logging out and back in on your home computer, it reads certain settings such as these from cookies which are refreshed when you log in.

no big deal, tho. This kind of bug happens ultra rarely, i guess

"Donator Toplist" is in my opinion incorrect of what describes the current list.

What it looks like to me is that everyone who has donated is visible there, and hence it should be called "Donator list" !

The EOL server should be going down sometime this evening or night. MySQL server is being moved, the downtime should be around 5 to 20 minutes.

I'm not sure what's going on, but the search on elmaonline.net does not seem to work properly when search phrase contains spaces. This breaks recsource.tv's level fetching for replays driven in levels where filename contains spaces.

PSA:
The September payment was NEGATIVE 70% paid as of today. I donated now to cover the cost for LAST month, but remember that if no donations are made, the only option is to either shut down the server or have Kopaka pay out of his own pocket. If you have been thinking about donating, please donate now in order to cover September (which is now at 35%, due 27/9) and also October and forth.

As always, thanks Kopa (and I guess Markku and other behind-the-sceners) for the work you do in order to keep EOL up and running!

Also, isn't it time we un-sticky the Belma/1.2 topics in this forum, and instead sticky the necessary EOL-related topics?

Edit:
$26 might seem like a lot as a bulk sum, but keep in mind you can set up monthly donations with paypal. If we can just get 14 people to donate $2 every month, or better yet, 26 people to donate $1/month, we would be covered. Thinking of how many people play the game, it shouldn't be too hard to find even 52 people to donate $0.5/month! - As people mention below, doing tiny transactions costs more in transaction fees, so the best solution would be to save those tiny donations in your wallet for now, until you have a larger sum to donate at once. The thought behind it is still applicable though!

Even a small contribution helps. Please take a minute to donate if you can!

Some time ago I had a competition and donated $1 to EOL under winner's name. Kopa said that relatively big portion of so little donation goes to fees. So is it sensible to donate $1 monthly or would it be better to donate $12 annually?

Before you empty your piggy banks it's not as bad as it seems. We have some extra cash in the account that's not showing. Been meaning to give a status when getting that accounted for exactly. But of course those won't last forever, so a little something once in a while is needed.

And as Orcc mentioned, it's not so good an idea to donate 1$ at a time. At 1$ the paypal fee is 33%. At 5$ it's 10%. At 10$ it's 7%. At 50$ it's 4%.

Oh damn it, Zweq's example is totally sick. Does those battles played count on general statistics (when you go to overall Ranking? Or just when you go to a specific day?
I also have seen some players with battles played e.g. yesterday and then when you go to his profile you note that he didnt even played that day.

Just asking: is there any possibility to fix the fake numbers of battles played? For some players it says 1000+ battles played on 2017 and they just played 10, 20 or so thereford win rate and others stats are so damn wrong wich is sad because the EOL Ranking is pretty awesome thing.
