Dame I was close, but his rec loox like ez 1:14 with that shit beginning, actually, with hoyling, the WR will probably br more like 1:13:xx making us ever closer to that 35 TT (25 secs to go! :o) just a few ms off each lev (except major hoyled ones like warmup) then ez 35!!!! 8O

I'm not saying I could do better, and grats respect etc etc to Xiphias for WR but that rec does NOT look like it should be a world record... you did the major parts fast fair enough but there's just no cohesive elegance or grace in the driving... t0r, John, Zweq, if you want a WR, look no further than AF

Since this style talk is going on.. who owns what style.. who made it blablabla

then i can just as well show my finish with the new mid bounce style on Labyrinth Pro

http://mxb.dk/upload/35NSXiph.rec

I WAS THE FIRST TO MAKE THIS STYLE SO NOW I OWN IT..... I SHOULD GET A GAA AWARD FOR THIS.

fucking hell Xiph nice... this is almost worth a debate. as you probably know t0r made this at FEM but that was in a training lev. when i asked him personally why he didn't make a finish on the real lev he said "it's far from easy". so unless t0r or someone else is keeping quiet, this must be the first finish, grats.

whether or not you can call it your own style, i'm in no position to pass judgment...

according to axxu, it's at least 2-3 seconds faster. t0ringe said he didn't know.

i highly doubt so. that's a style to 2.20.xx, maybe possible to cut some 1-2s for a top, but no more

it's a pretty ingenious style, I guess someone would have thought of it eventually, NOW we can use a different part of the level we never used before! :o

EDIT: Thanks for defending my point of view, Xiphias, because even though you were the first to do it, you weren't the one who made up the style in the first place.

yes, but in fact, if you go over it, it's mocking Raven.

for it was Raven who did it first (ex. YOU on lab pro) but you and Raven werent the ones who thought up the style in the first place. it was t0r and (Crazy I think) so you are defending ME.

bit of logic there for you tijs.

It may be plausible as the new WR imo, actually seems like it should be, I think the wall bounce would be a bit harder though.

I can do the trick, but prolly not the bounce evar again. :?

yes it is.. I've managed to make it in a train lvl :D perfect bounce at that mid part is also possible.. so u get max speed and lose some seconds.

there's no way a new wr can be done with this style. it's slower and it's obvious if you try to equal 2.16 and this. some zewq or maybe john could pull it up to 2.19, well.. i give -one extra second for the space of insanity of these lunatics, but's that's still so far away from a wr for them.

so lets be real and get down to earth you dreamers :]

btw it's possible, not plausible akb.
