prolly the leik on-top style? instead of taking second apple by going over /\ then under poly and up, you go on poly and over teh directly?

I was just wondering..

On Pipe Could you do the bounce after taking the first apple
and go through the little gap between the "Backwards L"
Polygon and the start polygon?
It could increase time By far..

LOL first explain what level youre refering to. fortunatley you were very late and this style for pipe has already been mentioned several times.

http://up.k10x.net/jckyqncmeccic/30s3019.rec

btw i think you dont know how to watch recs, right?

you put them in rec folder, then you open elma and press replay, then select the replay you want to watch.

zz style... my guess..
as posted here earlier: drive with max speed and jump up over top and drop to uphill apple... (here comes the hard part... I tried some in trainlevel...) then bounce back from that apple... drive down... max speed.. up to end.. hang to get last apple... pipe to end... should be faster...

when I trought of style I was liek: damn ez wr... played for like 2 hours.. didnt manage CP bounce... well.. maybe I am wrong... Great time anyway.. about time ZZ got a decent WR-drive...

If this is style faster times will come

nah he ment hang for the apple, you're trying to get with a brutal, otherwise the uphill part won't work.

Do you guys even realise what you're saying? The bounce itself would be sick enough, let alone hanging with superstretch or a brutal on a vertical surface coming from a wrong direction.

I never managed the bounce damnit.. if I would I would have had wr I guess hoh!

Well.. Maybe he just managed bounce to 3rd apple and thereby gets more speed to uphill and can do oldschool uphill and gain there... wtf do I know...
Just speculating...

Something like this

I only did few tried to show you general Idea... I was sure I would do kickass wr when I got this idea.. but since I never managed bounce I never learned the other parts... slow start in this one.. all parts bad... If bounce would be doable... I guess its a wr.

If you do good speed uphill you can jump pretty high (wont search for recs) and then push with good speed into wall and maybe get max bounce back... well...

Please try!

nah nah guys. i didn't want to break my non post streak for this but it's frusterating me listening to you guys come up with impossible bounces. What he does is ya what igge said but don't get 3rd apple and instead get enough speed to go up hill and then once it turns yellow on igges pic don't do bounce but go down and do normal bounce back up like the wr and then do hang on last apple. I believe that is faster then wr style.

If you look at 33stylor.rec by Anpdad (which I'm pretty sure you have as I saw you commenting on it at the time), he reaches midbounce section at 32:xx, whereas in your 33mopo you reach at 38:xx. So you're saying hang+pipe end is definitely at least 6 seconds slower?

the not bounce style I tried even before I got zig wr.. as did zweq before he did 1:01 wr...

but with old uphill... as in Tors old 1.03 wr. when I merged Anpdads style with tors 1.03 you cant get to bounce faster with anpdads.. (not much anyway) and midbounce makes tyou stand still afterwards... with the "upper" downhill you get max speed.

Please. prove me wrong... but I tried all variations I coudl think of...

Also. I am 100% sure bounce to 3rd apple is possible.... and it migh tbe just t5hat... + a good run... maybe new end... bounce to pipe... there are different possibilities...

But bounce from wall coolest style... Anpdads jump is max cool style.. would be rocks to use that for wr drive.. when I saw that Emili was visiting so coudlnt play... but got so excited... felt like Ez 53:xx but then bounce from wall fucked me up.

These hard bounces are normally possible with practice and when you finally learn the rigght angle youll learn it.

Well.. rec will be public eventually... as all...

Please show recs of ideas... ,ax fun

ziggy

Post by Quinn »

It's been a while since I played ziggy ( and elma at all) but I can say that you don't need any kickass style to make 56. Usually simplest style is the best, I have couple styles ( diff start and end(s)) which can cut easily 0.5s each, and just using the normal route. Prolly someone has come up with the same styles, but so far haven't seen anyone using those, which is starngy since both are so obvius. Well suppose I have to share the styles when I have connection in my comp. In the mean time, good luck with that style, deffinetely looks kickass, but might be just waste of time :P
Just my opinion tho

Nice wr btw, but wasn't suprised at all ( exept for who made it), I though mayb zweq or john makes it.

Ramone you could be right. a bounce to the third apple instead of brutal volt would save probably a second or so along with a clean run. Defintly would be an impressive run.

Here are the two recs Anpdad released, makes the uphill in both:
http://up.k10x.net/fypnwofhvotjp/33styl0r.rec
http://up.k10x.net/wedqewuldqcfx/33styl0r2.rec

Bounce almost looks possible in second one, I personally think it's ridiculous, but then I would have said that about dozens of styles which people have successfully made

Maybe Xratio will use a brutal volt there and make easy WR

i'm going to look past zweq's hilarious implication that the uphill was impossible and agree with him, that whole route (if some brutal is indeed possible) looks slower. new wr is probably same route with some new trick here and there.. quinn might be onto something, would be interesting to see what
