I want to make a comment here. Though, I as well, would like to hear simon's comment. Luther's rec doesn't have any errors, it's mega-smooth. But as I was playing headbanger a while ago, I managed to make better starts almost every time. I don't want to call it a "flaw" in Luther's rec but still his start is not perfect at least. I can't argue about the other parts because I never got that far..

John, are you ahead of luther at the pipe?

yes, even me did some recs faster than Luther's start, but that can't be all, because that were maybe 0.1 faster, or even less

Luther's rec isnt flawless at all.
1)Start is quite bad;
2)This little "bounce" at 22.15.... he loses some 0.2 or even more here. Just merge with kuper's rec (~44:37).
But other places are done really good, but quite improvable. John just drove nice run with the best style, nothing more. The rec must be really cool, but nowadays all wrs are....

p.s. dont think that i said that luther's rec sucks (i cant get this time even with lots of hoyl, too good for me), just compared it to nowaday-quality recs...

Ill have to add a comment =)

I used to make better starts as well, and what can I say.. perhaps it was unfortunate I didnt finish 44,05 run with a better start. I can too say that the middle can be done faster, and that kuper has a better end style. So yes 43,60 is definitely possible, but requires a fucking good run.

headbanger will always be possible to beat.. it's as if it's impossible to make all parts good in one run and it's some murphy's bulle to always make some bad part when finishing with a neat time

I was not even aiming for WR, but some 44,xx bulle when I got WR, so I guess HB is one of those "omg was that WR!?"-levs still out there. Perhaps not now when john got 43,60, but what do I know ^^

lol. ok: Luther's run is Godlike, so is John's, but, there is...

I haven't seen Kuper's rec, but to me, you can gain almost a second right at that part (or at least 0.5)... :D

I know how u feel luther. I'd like to have my start back on Animal farm too. I consistantly make better starts then my wr run but it worked out. Guess animal farm impossible to make all parts good. If I had a good start and my time was around 15:9x i'd show replay.

you don't know how much is a second:)
start wasn't perfect in that old WR run, Luther definitely got many faster but those who played some level hard know that nobody is Karlis
