In meat you said that 3 times Animal :P. Long Haul end is new? Markku used it like 2 years ago. However

1. Freefall (under 30 secs)
2. Headbanger
3. Zig Zag end (and the uphill)

:D i made that ff trick over 100 times (really)

so the hardest tricks are:
1. zigzag end - never tried, never made
2. bowling fast pipe - made only a few times
3. warmup in 14.12

:D

At least for me that "newer" style is the older one.

The easier (and a little bit slower) one that most people use. In sprocket's site you can find those I'm pretty sure.

Karlis was the first who got WR under 20secs (and under 34secs) but he wasn't the first who drove it this way. Martin [TSC] was the first and Elbono [SC] second? Karlis was third but got the best time of those three. Or was Karlis second..?

about long haul, i suppose first person to drive it somehow faster than in across was trigger/dux from ssc who had wr of 36.xx in first elma wr table and he used the easier and a bit slower style in end that dz referred as older style...

elbono made the trick for the first time like 10 minutes after I sent him my wr-rec, he got better time than my wr when he first time made the trick, so.......

I have no idea of martin, he never told me anything

hardest tricks.

Post by ciph »

in no particular order:
1: Zig Zag Hill (the fastest way)
2: Bowling Tube is pretty hard! (shutup dz!)
3: Turnaround Start!? (havent tried much but i think it is hard)

Zig Zag is easy except for....the starting Hill and the Bounce is tricky, the rest of it is easy. Jaws is surprisingly easy once you learn it, i found. Even the lab pro bounce is quite easy once you get the hang of it!

And by the way, we dont need to get into this Freefall limit breakers discussion again, that is like 2 years old and well overdone. Martin, Kalle, Elbono, just take a tie, ok. well do whatever, just drop it though =))

good speech ciph! but I won't take a tie with elbono :)

I agree with you, turnaround is quite hard

also taking the bounce apple in lab pro with your backwheel and then the dropping straight down is also quite hard

that style existed when i was in odp, qazz had invented it, years ago. altho i never spread it, i'm sure, as most other styles, that it wasn't only one person that invented it. it's not hard to change the 15 second style to 12, i mean anyone can see that, the 15 style just has a "death swing".

and to dear kalle, i guess i have comprehension problems, but i do remember us talking on irc with martin tsc, he saying how he invented the style, sent it to you, you not denying. it's funny how this discussion never ends, and how guilty you sound :P

dz wrote:but the question remains... who invented freefall under 15s style ?
nostrada was probably the first
haven´t seen his replay yet
but it was very good hoyled (good average) so i think the style couldn't be the same
and then i made it :D
somebody said then it´s not hard to improve 15 to 12s but everybody knew about it and nobody was able to do it (even dz now :D )
it#s the same in hiflyer, everybody knows that it can be jumped from the left side but nobody did it (i know how, wait a few weeks)

and about turnaround, what style are you talking about ?

hmmm... that must be the next big wr, like enigma for first time and freefall 15s style.... seems impossible though, but i can do it in nitro with invincibility and 1300 acceleration
maybe some crazy bounce or a brutal volt

methinks the new hiflyer style must be a brutalvolt from the left, then another onto the platform with the killers.i would try it but i suck at brutals

well, onto the topic
1. Freefall 15 secs, 12 secs doesn't matter i can't make it anyway
2. Bowling pipe, i hate it, i just go through the top hole
3. Steppes jump 18 sec, 16 sec, 14 sec, 12 sec made none of these styles, but come close a LOT.

hardest trick?

Post by DCEM »

the hardest one MUST be analfarm start...it even depends on what kinda computer u have =(
second hardest for me is the shitty end in ziggy (the bounce)
third is the end in bounce back.
FF 12.xx style is no problem..it's actually easy =)
madman's circ is impossible to copy...for me that is..
steppes trick is also pretty hard to do, i think.
the new trick (WR-style) in islands in the sky is also a little problem to get the hang on
talking 'bout HANG, HANGMAN is the one with the most fawked up style...i cant do it, either =/
but, however, i think it's a personal thingy...some think one level is hard, some thinks the same one is easy :D

Can I say Zig Zag all in one? Like Uphill part, Bouncing to get the apple, and the end...well if I can:

1. Zig Zag
2. Headbanger pipe
3. Freefall
4. Lab Pro bounce

...that was 4? Oh yeah, sorry :D

There is no need to write 3... I bet most styles are masterable with a little practice... exept:

1: Enigma: all styles below 40!

I´ve written Enigma here before... have to add some.

2. Free Fall (all styles including shortcut)
3. Headbanger (I dont even try)
4. Zig Zag (Looks easy, but it is pretty hard)
5. Animal Farm (over the head, how to succed?)
6. Enduro (jump to 2nd apple, tried like 30 mins... didnt manage once, did a safe 56 with drive around instead)
7. Use across start in Turnaround (I bet alo is involved)
8. Steppes 12s route looks pretty soft (It aint though)
9...
10... (etc)

btw, I did apple harvest new style yesterday, it wasnt hard at all, it was fun... still only got 1:46 (dmd has 1:36!)
