it's called a bounce...

you have to brake when you lean on the back or front wheel

You can do it without bounce much easier, and not that much slower.

Maybe you renamed the files for example from "07psteve.rec" to "Bounce" and forgot to put the ".rec" at the end so, the game wouldn't recognize the file because there was no extension... happens to me all the time !

nope, I renamed "07psteve.rec" to "007psteve.rec" and it did'nt work.. Changed it to "07psteve.rec" again and it worked :P Well to the bounce, i have managed to do it several times, but at most I'm just flying straight up in the air, what am I doing wrong? Like rotating to early or too late? Well that's maybe impossible for you to say, but someone might know? Well thanks for all the help.. :D

Aaaahhh, that's why, the game only accepts 8 caracters or less for recs and levels. 8)

There is a limit of eight letters, so if there are more letters you can't see the levs or recs in the list.

The bounce strikes you where the wheels aim, so if you fly too up, you are probably rotating too late.

Flying straight up in the air?? isnt that what ur suposed to do??
But anyway its hard to do good bounces and it takes time to learn how to do them right.

to me..theres 3 types of high flyer bounces.one is where its sort of like a brutal volt except u fly backwards, the other is more of a powerful bounce but u still have to smash down the front wheel, and the last (which i cant do) is just a straight up bounce (not a brutal) that sends u right up to the platform and its crazy fast...but nehow u should use the fuirst one to start

Aha only 8 characters :P Well, thanks for the help guys.. I've made it perfect a few times, but at most I'm just doin' wrong and are not making it up to the platform... My best jump ;) http://w1.479.telia.com/~u47905956/07Klarar.rec

And this is how it looks the most of the time when im trying.. http://w1.479.telia.com/~u47905956/07Failed.rec

Can someone see what I'm doing wrong? I've tried a lot of different technics, and tried to rotate earlier and later, and brake sooner or later, but i cant really se what im doing wrong =/...

you need more speed in failed rec and you volted right just a little too early. in the rec you finished you had plenty of speed and so found it easier, but you still volt early and braked too early. try to let your bike fall to the right a bit so you're on a bit more of an angle before you push brake.

Well thanks guys :) That really helped me out, now it's much easier than i thought (how's the spelling, "thought"?). It's still quite hard, but now when I know what to do, the only problem is timing ;) Thanks guys.. And btw, My vsync was already off ;)

I tried a bit on the hifly bounce before because i thought "it doesnt look that hard" and i tried like 3 times and 2 of thoose was like 0.5 of a wheel to low to get a perfect bounce, and i merged recs with mopo rec and i thought im just doing it a little slow. I contiouned trying and i never even bounced after that.

done bounce with vsync on, it was an accident and i've never done it again, but next time i try of course vsync off, but for now the style i use is much easier and fairly decent, and can get around 36 with max hoyled run (just merge kopa and my recs, i lost lots of time at end)
