N00bie records

Post by twipley »

N00bs who have their first record on something, post it here, maybe you get some favorable notice for that. This is always a great moment.

i remember my VERY first noob wr was a +50 wr ages ago on bounce back, but i remember it not being allowed on the table because i had hooked bug time, and i couldnt get it removed cause abula was at army or sumthing. anyway, first real noob wr was on shelf life +45 wr, i cant remember exact time. but i also have had steep corner, slalom, and apple harvest +45 wrs also.

first +50 wr - Ramp Frenzy some 1:04, soon played it down to 59.4x

first +45 wr - Ramp Frenzy got 57.2x and then improved to 55.49

i think both of those records are still the records :?

yeah that was really cool wr, I remember saying: "Damn nerd, he's playi9ng 23 hours a day!". Bus rules for the time you have thinking things like this. Remember Einstein working in a train station doing nearly nothing all day...

Juski, every new guy confuses and gets confused and annoys the others now and then. That's the fun of it. :)

First thing I ever got a record on was moposite's Top 10 Levpacks, heah was even mentioned in the News, that was a great moment :)

(I realise this thread isn't really for retelling "the moment you got your first record on something 5 years ago" but it seems to me it has stagnated into being about when you get a wr or a nobb wr on an internal or the like, so I'd just like to point out that the thread starter mentions nothing of what kind of record it is, just a record on some contest that is elma related!)
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

i think that it is possible to name my world record n00bie , because in what that less style has appeared casually, but nevertheless first three places on Olp36 (at me at a level) i have driven by this style 8)
P.S. but believe, then there was an excellent holiday

I had 53 records on the very first +50 WR table, does that make me extra noob or extra good? :P

edit: corrected spelling

It is, of course!

Should have been so a great feeling to have been mentionned in the News, especially for your first record! 8)
Have you ever got a first record?... feel free to share! You know when you do a record and then you think: did I really beat it?; so at first you don't realise it, and you just check the table back to see if this is real, and yes, you just did it!

If this wasn't my first record, this was one of the firsts; it was on the Mini Apple Harvest of the Official Level Packs, more precisely levnamed pa62le09. The record was 25:xx and I did around 30:xx, without climbing up once, and this was kinda evident that I could do much lower. So I did this for a while and I dropped down to low 23, and I kept finding new techniques and ways and I always kept thinking I could drop that some more. I kept on höyling, dropping down second by second, until I had found the official way. I did the almost-perfect run and that dropped down to 16:xx, for a total of more than 9 seconds dropped!

I thought that no one could ever beat it, or at least not for a long while, but like 6 months after, on the next update, MP had the record, so I asked him for his rec and he showed me it. The drive was pretty different, but mine and his recs merged together are really nice to watch! Combining both techniques would give the perfect style. But hey, that's MP's technique!
