Do you regularly compare against someone on elmastats?

i used to do that when i was a total noob against better players in order to motivate myself to get better times. and against jamppa, i don't do that anymore cuz i reached my goal (39 tt) and focus more on getting good times then dropping tt

i compare with kiiwi from time to time, cuz then I feel awesome. (at least tt-wise, you got some sick times I cant beat...)

Thx , u got some very nice times and styles done that i should do (but can't find motivation :S )

I do it regurarly its fun and (as Kiwii said) its motivating me to do better times. I compare myself with guys with 39 - 40 tt to see which internals I must improve first to get big second drops
Funniest is to compare stats with someone with worse (or simillar) tt and see that he has some times much better than you. Thats rly motivating. I'm always like: "OMG, how could this guy with 3:4x lab pro make this impsy-stupid-maximpsy sc, which I tried and never made".
Its also good to see, which times are realisticly doable in few hours and which are just impsy and made only by pros.

I used to aswell, those 5-7 years ago when I played internals. Would compare to someone with about same tt and see which levs they had much better in and then maybe hoyled those.

I used to compare myself with Lukazz until he started kicking my ass pretty badly. I still think he's got similar skills as me, just more internal motivation.

I noticed a small bug: The total time listed for a player shows the anonymous total time for the state.dat, not the actual total time of the player. The individual level times looked correct though

Ok, so that's what have broken my stats. I've been picking a new player name every few month to force myself to play through all levels again. Could it be made an option what player names to count in the stats?

to others who have this problem: put nothing in "elmaname" field in acc setting s to use all the times in your state.dats (not just the ones with your elmaname)

obvious, that there are a LOT of levs, where we both could easily cut off many seconds
