After ap did a wr on hi flyer i decided to try and play elma seriously... and even showed it to lots of friends of mine.. some started to play.. they still can't beat all the levs but already have tried to hoyl some levs.. if he did evereone can with a bit of talent and patience..

and to my pity i have o admit i played elma alot like 5 years from now.. and then i've found other games ... and now at age of 25 i've found all the greatness of the game :) bah too late probably .. but i have a dream on giving my country a different wr from tm's pipe=]

oh....that changes my view of things a bit, i was pretty certain that you were new to the game....seems you are only new to the scene (so am i, but anyway). i'm not sure how much does age affect to it. As i see it, if you got talent it doesn't hurt to start at about 20's, but if one doesn't have talent than i think age contributes to your performance and you need much more patience and höyling to get results. (i'm 21 so i hope i could get 39tt with my skill's :blushes: )

Still i hope you get max enjoy out of the game despite your possible doubts on your skill level :D

P.S sorry 'bout off-topicing.

talli got 19.12 with a bounce that's only slightly more buggy than Stini's. px didn't accept it

which begs the question.. where do you draw the line? are people expected to hoyl for bounces that are buggy but not too buggy? that's just unrealistic

i think that by accepting Stini's bounce without explanation or reasoning, px has indicated to us that he is willing to accept any kind of bugbounce on that level. and by not accepting talli's i would hope that he provided talli with a precise quantitative explanation of what makes his unacceptable and Stini's acceptable

i told talli when he got that that he has a great case for it being allowed for the reasons above and also the fact that Stini's wr is simply old, we must allow wrs to progress and it's only natural that we will see buggier bounces. one day someone will beat talli's time with an even buggier bounce, and that too should be accepted.

also, if you examine talli's bounce, you'll see he got as much wheel compression as in a normal bounce. it's not one of those bugs where you just shoot up as soon as you touch the polygon. it was a calculated and controlled move that just happened to accelerate the bike faster than usual

there's just a myriad of reasons to let talli's wr fly, i figure px didn't put much thought into it before rejecting teh
im pretty good at elma
