How long did it take for you to do the LabPro bounce?
I've never done it in the internal. Did it once on my training lev.
I think I'll get my TT down with 40-45 seconds if I succeed.

well, it sure needs some training, but it's not actually so hard to do slow.........can't remember how long it took on the first, but not very long

It didn't take so long time to make the bounce in a training level I have, but it was a lot harder to make the bounce in the real Laby pro.

i think i used about 30 mins in the training lvl before i made it the first time and after i did it about 10 times, i went out in the int lvl and made it after 30 - 40 mins i think

took me a two years before I even tried to bounce. I practised a while in a training lev and then made the bounce maybe after a couple of days.

When I desided to go for it I tried in the training level for a few hours.. I made it first after 30-45 mins.. then I got the style in my fingers and decided to try it in the normal level

AND FUCKED UP EVERY SINGLE TIME IN TWO DAYS ( played 5 hours the first day and 4 the next I think ) .. finally in the third day I made it.. time 2.53.## .. I was so happy that I forgot to save rec

I havenÂ´t tried after that ... God I hate that level

Did the lab pro bounce only once in the training lev and still i got the bounce in the real lab pro in about 1 hour!

But the time is very sucky (2:56,44)

I used a training lev first, and made it 10 times or so, then tried the real lev. I had to play a few hours before I made it, but the ride sucked:

03:10:18 Thomas

After this I didn't play the level for a long time. Later, after several days with hours of playing, I made an ok ride (for me at the time)

02:51:80 Thomas (Oct 2001)

These are still my best 2 times, haven't played it much since.

Later me ('Phillip') and my brother Terrance improved the multi-WR by a few seconds when I made the bounce again:

01:36:53 Terrance, Phillip (May 2002)

That was the second time I made the bounce in mp, the first time my brother screwed up and didn't finish

. The bounce is a bit harder in mp, because the view is smaller...

Yes, rename some external level file to QWQUU0xx.lev where xx is the number of the internal you want. Then just run the game and go to the editor. If you want to change the levels and play it you have to save as different name. (c) Moposite.com

then move the starting place and voila, great training lev

Well... back in across days I didnt really try... I tried a bit I guess... but I wasnt even close

Then when elma came I didnt even finish the level for a long time... maybe 1 year or more. Then I finished it and so... then I started to do a few tries one day and it didnt go well at all. Then I played my 24 h tt. Which was very cool, and since I had decided I had to end up with better time than my current tt I had to do the bounce... So, I just played til I made it. 2 hours maybe. The lev was really fun to play that day: 2:45:45
I played enigma like at least 3 hours that day to... but that didnt go. I aslo playd FF very much.. didnt succed that either. I few days ago I was talking to Tor about 24h tt and I kinda felt like trying again. It is a great way to push yourself to do new stuff... since you wanna get better tt. I suggest you try it.

But on the other hand... it is cooler to use a bounce in an external level and make a record noone will beat. I mean, even if you play for hours and make it... no time over 2:25 impresses anymore....

i started to practice labypro bounce on MECup05.lev, i made a text file counting tries needed for a succesfull bounce (getting apple and not dying after), it looks like this:

34, 19, 17, 15, 1, 27, 1, 29, 1, 7, 3, 16, 3, 6, 10, 39

here i thought mayb i can get a good ride in 10 tries, so i switched to laby pro, and did it in the 4th try

the time sucks anyway, over 3 mins

When I started playing elma today my tt was 44.07.xx
and I decided I would try to beat my LabPro-record without the bounce to get my tt under 44.
After a few deaths and esc-pressing I got to the bouncepart and I thought
"ahh what the heck if I dont practise how am I supposed to do it in the future" so I tried and succeded.
In the end I was so afraid of crashing that I almost turned back.
My time before was 3.34.xx now it is 2.55.xx a nice improvement.
My tt went from 44.07.xx to 43.27...

For me it's like 0.001%. It's not so bad...................

Medium or fast speed I would say. Pretty hard if you bounce either with slow or super fast speed.

Ok I know this is off-topic but I need help with another bounce. The enigma-bounce. Didn't want to create a new topic so I write here.
Can someone give some tips on how to do it? The killers are no problem.
One time I was so close that you couldn't see the sky between the flower and wheel but I can't get that close again...

Havent tried LabPro bounce cuz i know i can't do it. I tried a few enigma's bouce but didn't make it even to the island near the flower. I hate bouncing

Doddddy you don't have to bounce to get to the platform.
Instead of doing a fast turn, jump straight up to get some speed then jump over the killers as usual. Press right to hit the (slope?) at the same time with both wheels then press right again to jump up to the platform.
You should get around 29 sec this way...

I've made it over the killers some times, but then I lose all my speed and can't do neither the bounce nor the jump to the platform. ARGh!

2. You dont hit the slope at the right angle
