never understood the purpose of mergefaks in vids, skint used it and then all nabz thought its cool. no its not, because at least I have to rewind and watch again any merged rides anyway, it might make the vid shorter, dont see any oher benefits. merging might be cool if the route is 100% same, you see teh flaws better, dont see any point merging 2 totally different routes, i mean WAT E FAK seriously. always wanted to whine about that but now i got the prime chance of erecting my fealings because i watched half of the vid with my mobile phone and over half of teh rides were merged faks, come on couldnt see shit on that small monitor!!!! OMFG!!!!! IM MEAN 2 u !!

the levs look fucking orgasmic though, first time i see them, dunno who were good on that cup either ( didnt see the text on mobile phone either !!!);( i shouldnt ignore all cups, only some of them. i wanna play next cup with these kind of levels, are they all made by igge? when is next iggecup?

Merging identical styles is only good, like you said, for showing flaws. The reason I choose to merge different routes is to show the level for what it really is. However, I can tell if it's hard to follow on a celphone, but watch it on youtube, or perhaps the real 1280x720 version and it will be alot more clear. Also, I know you might have to rewind, but I, at least, kinda like that in movies (or anothing, for that matter) - The fact that you catch something new the next time you watch it.

And yeah, Jappe, I was planning on zooming out a bit more, but I also though that would make the kuski itself harder to see, and therefore make it impossible to see the details in like bounces, wheel pressures and pipes.

Will experiment some more the next time to find a good balance.

solid movie Igge, I really enjoyed it. Only thing that could have made it better was a cameo apperance by Memphis. Guess I will have to try harder next time to do so.

Zweq, levels 1, 3, 5, 6 and 8 were made by me, 2, 4 and 7 by Kopa.
I was thinking of doing a Dave Cup, but since I'm not Dave anymore, I'm not sure. Thoguh I guess I will make at least one more cup in the future. Perhaps in a year, Perhaps tomorrow.

Memphis, I guess you'll simply have to pwn the above mentioned cup. 8)

A 300mb version is now up on Kopas FTP. This version, although being 1/3rd of the size, is alot better than the one on youtube. Should take you about 10 minutes to download.

It would be nice to see zweq play a few more cups other than world cups but then again he is pretty busy driving wrs and I like that too so maybe you should just play elma full time to please everyone zweq.

Igge, seems your lev went into quite a lot of R&D, but it's nice to see how, very roughly, both are similar. To me, it seems like it is a comparison between simian and human skeletons or something, you know, comparisons with specimens from prehistoric and everything? No?

In regards to merge stuff, i still kinda agree with my prev. sentiment in this thread.
It's not meant for you to watch both recs at the same tiome, every time, but rather so you may catch something new if/when you re-watch it. Probably better ways to do it though, and maybe I'm the only one who watches the same vids over and over again)

For instance, TEH05 had a few nice styles, but that doesn't really show if you just see the winning rec:
